Anyways, here's my poem of the day

This is actually a poem I wrote in Creative Writing this past year, but I wanted to share it anyways.
Playing with Fire
"I love you," said the fire
to the newly-leafed woods
"For you I've much desire
to love you like I should."
"Let me carress your leaves
I can warm you in the cold night
and protect you from the thieves
who wish to steal your sweet delight."
And so the lonely woods
decided to comply
reaching for it's new-found love
but, instead, burned and died.
