Traveling to places I've never known
Lights flashing by
a tourist in a new world
Looking up, there are smoggy skies
and skyscrapers towering
over this tiny girl
In this giant concrete wonderland
I am but a foreign spec
lost in the crowd
The city is a new place, free for me to explore
I start walking down the sidewalk
a speaker yells "you're finally here"
out loud
