That's when Colton's fist collides with Cole's face.
I jump at the sound. It sounds like Cole's nose was made of glass, and it just shattered to 1,000 pieces.
"So that's how you want to play it, uh?", Cole wheezes.
"That's not how I'm gonna 'play it'. That's just a warning. If you ever do anything to Lea, ever, I will hurt you.", Colton says through gritted teeth.
He grips my wrist and I follow him back into the cafeteria. He leads me to an empty table and says, "Wait here."
He walks over to the popular table, gathers his food and sits back down next to me.
"Why did you want to sit with me?", I ask.
"I like you, Lea. A lot."
