My cell phone starts ringing playing my favorite song "problem" by Ariana grande and Iggy azalea. I answer it hoping it my best friend Taylor

"Hello?"

"Katy?" Yup it's Taylor.

"Hey!" I say.

Taylor is my very best friend. We met when we were only 3 years old, but last summer she moved to Hollywood, California and I haven't seen her in a year.

"So... Did your mom tell you the good news?" Taylor asks me.

"Ok so guess what? You are coming to visit me in Cali! And your staying all summer long!!" She tells me.

"O my god are you serious??!! We are going to have so much fun!!!! I gotta go pack text me later!"

"My dad?" I ask "my dad died when I was nine." I turn and see my mom behind me followed by Olivia.

"Mom what's going on?" I ask her. I'm so confused "who is this man do you even know him?"

"Sweetie, this is your father."

I look at Olivia and we share shocked expressions.
