— EMBARRASSING HERSELF IN front of several customers wasn't on her bucket list to complete. She planned to make it through her work career without any mistakes. Charley Kennedy didn't plan to come in to work to see the diner be as busy as ever. None of her coworkers were helping her just to add another negative excuse for why she made the mistake she did. Charley was relatively good at her job since she had been working there since she promised her mother she would take good care of the diner.
— Watching three suspiciously familiar teenagers walk into the group made her even more stressed. Especially when she didn't get any help from her fellow coworkers. Having to deal with that table by herself, she managed to get their orders. What she didn't manage to do was safely sit one of the boy's order down onto the table. Instead, his chocolate milkshake spilt everywhere on him. And ultimately, it was her fault.
