Tis, such a beautiful day
Tis, such a beautiful sight
Behold its open glory
Let the wildness spread free
Into the oceans, onto the land
Let it pour through your heart,
With its demand
For now you know you are not alone
Don't haste in your departure
Gold will spread throughout
Your land along with it
You will forget, tis only a matter of the heart
Greed will over power you
Till the very deed of your death bed
You were once so mighty
A young heart so pure
You had the world
As it had you
Now you are dying
And the world moves on
Where is your gold, sir
And your many admirers
You were once a mighty
Man, so bold and bright
You thought for king and country
Not so long ago
Now you are corrupted
And oh, what a pity it has become
Now you are old and wrinkled down
Your riches nowhere to be seen
You will die as a fly
Nothing more, for you have fallen into
Its silent trap.
It was once so alluring
But you forget your home
Was the world
Her beauty was enticing
Was it not
Sleep now sir and pray
Your time is up
