I love the taste that you inspire
I love the hands that you create
You are a masterpiece
Not yet discovered in your art of paintI love that you brush and stroke
That canvas with such a touch
It leaves me jealousOh, you inspire and whirl around
Your eyes are like glass
They see the true world
Just behind that human maskI wish you would turn
And see my grin
I wish you would see the desire
You have built around me
You set me off
The minute we first met
Butterflies erupted
And off went the hatYou glasses were so cute
You thought you looked geeky
But I found you so sexyYou started to draw
That old lady next door
Whilst I watched my eyes
Lingering on your perfect lipsYour cheeks would turn pink
When the old bat would wink
I laughed enjoying your embarrassment
It was like a far of dream
Yet you were theirWe went to The book shop
The girl would flirt with no care
You grinned from ear to ear
And the next thing I knew
You were disappearing into her arms
Guess my crush just got crushedYears went by
And we matured
We grew apart
I don't know whyI was now a young lady
Had the world at my feet
You were now a young man
Treated like royaltyWe weren't meant to be
My mother laughed
Told me I was being silly
That he was the one meant just for meI told her she was crazy
After one cup of teaThan the sun rose and I hopped out of bed
Heading down the street to that old bakery
The door chimed
Just as a man turned
I gulped in air
Lost for wordsHe stared at me
And I at him
The old man waved me inI took three steps
And so did he
It felt like chess
A game to beHe was so beautiful
It hurst to see
But I smiled just in case
He remembered meHe cocked his head
A shy grin on his face
I nearly laughed but stopped dead
When he rushed forward
Taking my body to his and than
All I knew were those lips
As they came down on meGuess we were meant to be
