We went to The book shop

My mother laughed

Than the sun rose and I hopped out of bed
Heading down the street to that old bakery
The door chimed
Just as a man turned
I gulped in air

The old man waved me in

I took three steps

It felt like chess

He was so beautiful
It hurst to see
But I smiled just in case

He cocked his head
A shy grin on his face
I nearly laughed but stopped dead
