"Race ya home?" Jamie asks.
"On 3?" I ask.
"Yeah." Jamie says.
"1..GO!" I yell as I leave Jamie in the dust.
"You cheater!" Jamie yells from behind me.
*2 Minutes Later*
"You cheater." Jamie says as we reach our block.
Jamie grabs me and throws me over his shoulder.
"Who's the cheater now?" I ask as I giggle.
Jamie opens the door to my apartment and puts me down.
"Cheater." I say with a cheeky grin.
"Let's move in together." Jamie blurts out.
"What?" I say trying to make sure I heard him right.
"My lease is up in a couple days and I already basically live here." Jamie says as he scratches the back of his neck nervously.
I grab his face and pull him in for a kiss as he kicks the front door closed.
"Okay." I whisper pulling away.

"Morning, Danny." I say as I set my coffee down on my desk and Serg walks out of his office.
"Delilah, let's talk in my office." Serg says
I follow Serg into his office where my eyes fall on Frank.
I immediately stand up straight and salute him.
"As you were." Frank says and I relax.
"Internal affairs has given me their official recommendation. They recommended you be suspended for a week, but its my recommendation that matters. You're being demoted." Frank says.
"To an officer?" I ask.
"Yes, that's correct. Hand me your gold shield." Frank replies and I hand him my badge.
"Starting when?" I ask as he hands me a silver shield.
"As soon as you get into your new uniform." Frank replies as he hands me a new uniform.
"Sergeant Gormley, who's Delilah's new partner?" Frank asks the Serg.
"Officer Reagan." Serg says.
"Thank you for your time." Frank says before leaving the Serg's office.
I walk out of the office with my new uniform in hand.
"What happened?" Danny asks.
"I got demoted." I whisper as I stare at my new uniform.
"Hey, Serg, I hear you have my new partner." Jamie says as he walks over to Sergeant Gormley.
"There she is." Serg says pointing at me.
"Delilah? This has to be a joke. She's a detective." Jamie says.
"I was. The Commissioner demoted me." I say before walking towards the locker room.

I am currently in the ballet studio that I rented for the hour.
I do an on point Chaine, then a jete, then without missing a beat I do a pirouette, and I end with a plie.
Clapping fills the room. I turn around and there stands Danny, Frank, Jamie, Henry, Erin, Linda, the boys, and Nicky.
"You left the precinct before I had the chance to talk to you." Frank says as I grab my gray wrap sweater and put it on.
"I think you said everything this morning, Commissioner." I say before taking a sip of water.
"Fair enough. How was your day as an officer?" Frank asks.
"It was a joyous occasion." I say sarcastically as I take my pointe shoes off.
"Well, Detective, I think you've learned your lesson." Frank says as he pulls my gold shield out of his pocket.
"Detective?" I ask in a confused tone.
"Detective. Trade me?" Frank asks as he motions towards my badge.
I grab the silver shield, hand it to him, and he hands me mine.
