My hand brushed through Soph's long brown hair as my fingertips messed with the ends. Her soft snores sat on my chest as she fell asleep when watching The Lion King for the twentieth time this week.

A knock on the door forced me to sigh and gently place her aside, whilst making sure she was comfortable and still asleep. I hopped off of the couch and jogged towards the front door.

"Oh! Hey Tobi! I wasn't expecting you! How are you?" I chuckled, hugging the door as he smiled and fixed his snapback.

"I'm fine! And how's the little princess?" He chuckled, giving me a soft smile as I opened the door further and pointed over to the couch.

"Sleeping." I giggled lightly, he sighed and handed over a wrapped up present, a card and a cute little bag.

"I'll be out of London for the next week and won't be here for Soph's birthday so I needed to get her something before I left. There's something in there for you too." He smiled, I raised an eyebrow and nodded.

"Okay. Thanks Tobi. What's in there for me?" I questioned, knowing he wouldn't tell me but tying to get the answer anyway.

"Open it on her birthday. It's important for both of you and I feel kinda shitty for not being here for her fifth birthday." He sighed, awkwardly itching his neck as I placed down the bag and pulled him into a hug.

"It's fine Tobes. Now if you don't mind I have a little princess that's awaiting me. I'll see you later. Say hi to Manny for me." I smiled, pulling away as he nodded and gave me a smile.

"Will do. See you later Steph." He chuckled to which I just smiled and allowed him to walk down the corridors and towards the elevator..
