{Simon's PoV}

I answered my phone almost immediately when seeing Stephanie calling me. I reached over to grab my phone from the opposite end of my desk and placed it against my ear.

"Hello?" I spoke, awaiting her reply but just hearing her sniffle and do what sounded like choke back her tears.

"H-hi.. c-could y-y-you, look af-after Soph f-for a bit? J-just come o-over." I heard her whimper, making my heart shatter into a million pieces as I nodded to myself and began to jog down the stairs.

"I'll be there in no time. Don't worry." I spoke, pulling my shoes onto my feet and sighing when hearing her end the call. Before leaving I ran towards the kitchen in order to tell the guys I wasn't home.

"Guys I'm going out to look after someone. I won't be home for a while." I smiled, all of them groaning and grunting due to all of them still being unbelievably hungover or even still drunk.

I smiled, rushing out of the house and opening my car door once I was close enough to do so. I hopped in and quickly made my way towards the building Stephanie lived in.

A while passed and I had arrived, I looked up at the place and ran inside and took the elevator up to her floor. When on her ground I jogged over to her front door and opened it swiftly.

"Steph! It's Simon!" I yelled, walking into the living room and sighing when seeing Stephanie and her mother emotional wrecks whilst there was no sight of Sophia.

"Simon." Her mother wearily smiled, pulling me into a hug as I melted into the smell of her perfume and hugged her back as I hadn't seen her in years.

"Mrs Marsh." I spoke back, smiling at her tear stained face as she sniffled and looked at her daughter.

"You go wherever. Do whatever you need to do. I won't ask questions, just go and I'll look after Soph." I ordered, Steph smiling at me through her tears as she hopped to her feet and hugged me tightly along with placing a kiss on my cheek.

"Her food is in the microwave ready, she's potty trained so you're fine there, her toys are in her room and if she asks for chocolate buttons say no because she gets them everywhere" she ranted, I just chuckled and kissed her forehead before smiling.

"I can do this. Don't worry about it." I reassured her, making her immediately relax beneath my touch and to sigh deeply and nod her head.

"Don't tell her you're her dad.. please." She spoke, I just nodded and allowed her to walk out of her flat and to wherever her and her mother needed to go. Now to babysit my daughter...
