Colin settled next to Jen on the couch, and she refused to even make eye contact with him. She laughed at Josh and ignored Colin, feeling Lana's eyes digging into the back of her head. Colin tried to get her attention, but she would glance him, then look away, a little flustered, but she tried hard to hide it. Colin rested his hand on her knee and she pushed it off, laughing about something Emilie said. Lana furrowed her eyebrows in curiosity, observing the two as Colin kept trying to get Jen's attention, and Jen kept ignoring him. They seemed to be just fine five minutes ago. Colin placed his hand on Jen's shoulder and whispered something in her ear. Jen just pushed him away, staring daggers at him. The tension between the two thickened and Jen moved closer to Josh, who was sitting next to her. Lana stopped listening to the conversation, tilting her head slightly while watching Jen continue to be nothing but hostile towards Colin.
"Lana!" Someone shouted, snapping her out of her daze.
"Sorry, just zoned out." She laughed.
"Are you alright?" Ginny asked, eyebrows furrowed with concern. Lana nodded and hoped someone would draw attention to Jen and Colin instead of her. as the conversation started back up, Colin tapped Jen's shoulder again, finally earning a response.
"What, Colin?" She snapped, whipping her head to stare at Colin. She looked angry, but there was hurt in her eyes. Colin seemed taken aback by her response, and so did the rest of the room.
"I-I-I...Can we please talk?" He stuttered.
"We talked, you were being an ass. I'm sorry I don't feel like talking to you right now, but you can't just kiss me and say it was an accident. Twice." Jen shouted, standing up. "Sorry you guys had to see that. I have to go get my sister from the airport. She muttered, rushing off to her trailer. She hoped Colin had followed, no matter how angry she seemed. He did, he was right on her heels when she was about to slam the door. When she saw no one else had followed them, she let him in and locked the door.
"You think they bought it?" Colin asked, as soon as the door shut. Jen laughed and kissed him, letting him wrap his arms around her waist.
"I think we even got Lana. Did I look mad?" Jen asked.
"You scared me. I thought you were going to snap my head off." Colin teased.
"Thanks, I guess. I wasn't acting when I said I had to get my sister, though. I should probably yell at you while you go, for good measure." Jen smiled. Colin smiled and placed one last kiss on her lips, before letting Jen open the door and yell at him on the way out. She grabbed her purse and keys and ran off to her car, where Lana leaned against the door to the driver's seat. Jen waited for her to move, but she didn't.
"What the hell was that?" Lana asked. Jen tilted her head, furrowing her eyebrows. Lana groaned at her cluelessness. "You two were fine ten minutes ago, what the hell happened?" She asked.
"Colin was an ass, that's what happened. I really have to get my sister, her flight lands in about five minutes." Jen crossed her arms, staring into Lana's eyes, without a trace of a break in character. Lana took her weight off the car and let Jen open her door. She leaned in the window and looked in Jen's eyes again, trying to find a break in character, but Jen was convincing. She stood back up and let the blonde woman drive off to get her sister.
