As the months flew, Colin and Jen continued their wedding planning. They were waiting until Hailey was at least a few months old, so that Jen wasn't waddling down the isle, nine months pregnant. They were the perfect couple. Always together, planning, cuddling, talking, they almost never left each other's sides. It was about time for Colin's parents to visit, and Evan was coming with them. Jen was about eight and a half months pregnant, so she was waddling around like a penguin, while Hailey took a particular interest in kicking her ribs. Colin was trying to make everything perfect around the house, Evan was sleeping in Jen and Colin's bed, their parents had he extra bedroom, he had cleaned the entire house at least twice, and now, they were at the airport.

"Mac!" Colin's dad called. He was speaking Irish, and Jen knew very little. She tilted her head and listened as Colin replied in the same language.
(Son)

"Daid, chaill mé tú! Seo Jen." He replied.
(Dad, I've missed you! This is Jen.)

"We speak English, it's just more fun to confuse people. I'm Mary." Colin's mother smiled. Evan peeled his head out from behind her legs, shyly.

"I'm Jen." Jen smiled gently. Evan, barely two, waved.

"Mommy?" He asked, pointing to Jen. Her jaw dropped slightly as she searched for the words to reply to him. She had no idea how to handle this.

"Yes, Evan, this is your new Mommy." Colin replied for her. Jen lifted him up, though Colin protested. He was overprotective of Hailey already, and she wasn't even born yet.

"Mommy!" Evan shouted, wrapping his arms around her neck. Jen smiled and let herself savor the moment. She couldn't wait for her baby to do this.

"We should head to the car." She smiled. Colin reached out to take Evan, and Jen handed him over reluctantly. They made their way to Jen's car, and she let Colin's father take the front seat. Evan sat in the middle in his car seat, holding Jen's hand. She seemed to be zoned out, one hand holding Evan's, the other on her stomach. Colin began to talk and Hailey started kicking.

"Colin did that, too." Mary smiled. Jen smiled and let her mind wander again. She had worked extra today to have a bit off the next day, and stay home. It was rare that Jen and Colin actually had time alone. Though they were always together, they were always with a group.

"Jen!" Colin called, snapping her out of her daze.

"Sorry." Her cheeks flushed a bit and she tried to stay in the conversation, but her mind wandered from Lana to Jack to the show. She couldn't stay out of her head.

"Jen, what's up?" Colin asked.

"Up early, lots of extra scenes, and Lana is tiring." Jen joked. Colin rolled his eyes with a smile.

"Lana is Jen's best friend. Lana's not the tiring one, though." Colin teased.

"Hey!" Jen laughed. Evan giggled and tugged on Jen's hand.

"Mommy!" He giggled. Jen felt a pang of guilt in her stomach, though she ignored it. Hailey kicked her ribs again and Jen rubbed the spot that Hailey had kicked.

"Hailey loves my ribs." Jen groaned.

"I know. She likes my hands." Colin teased.

"At least your intestines aren't her punching bags." Jen teased. Colin laughed as he parked the car in front of their house. Evan held Jen's hand as he walked to the door. He had gotten so big since Helen had visited with him just a few months ago.
