It was around 6 pm, almost 7 when Ryder and I headed for the movies. We had hung out in his room for most of the day, just talking. I know it sounds boring, but there wasn't much we could do.

We had agreed that once the movie was finished, I would leave right away. I had already packed my things.

We entered the movie theater, and the movie had already started. The room was dark, and we stumbled around trying to find a seat. The movie didn't look good to be honest, and I was zoned out after the first fifteen minutes.

"This blows." Ryder said, as he slowly put his arm around me. I rolled my eyes, but found myself leaning into him.

"Let's go then." I whispered, turning to look into his gorgeous green eyes.

"Let's go." He smiled.

We made our way out of the movie theater, getting dirty looks from every person we bumped into.

When we reached the exit and ran outside, I couldn't help but laugh. We sat down at the curb once again, but this time, we found our selves much closer.

The night was cold and I shivered. He leaned in closer to me, his body radiating warmth.

I reached into my jacket, and pulled out a cigarette.

"Wanna smoke?" I asked carelessly.

"I don't touch those things. Never had, never will." He shrugged.

I lit my cigarette and place it lightly in my mouth, giving him an odd and confused look.

"I want to die of something worth dying for. When I die, I want to die recklessly, and quickly. I don't want to die because of something I inhaled." He explained.

I nodded, understanding what he said. I had judged him wrongly. He wasn't anything like Dean. He wasn't even close. I mean he looked like Dean, somewhat. But he wasn't anything like him. Dean didn't care whether he lived or died. He didn't care if his life would end tomorrow. He didn't care who he would leave behind. He just didn't care. But Ryder was different. He cared. He cared too deeply. He was tough, hard, and unforgiving, but he had a soft soul. For what it meant to me, he had feelings.

"Ok Mr. Livedangerously," I teased. "Is that what you want?"

I looked at him as I put out my cigarette on the black cement.

"Perfect." He smiled.

He began to lean into me, but I backed away, pretending to check the time. He looked away, as if to pretend he wasn't going to do anything.

"I should get going." I said awkwardly.

"Yeah. I guess so."

I really didn't want to. But I had to.

"I'm sorry ok?" I finally said. "But I have to go."

"Don't be sorry. I get it." He said coldly.

"I just don't want to get you involved in this."

"Believe me doll, I've been in worse." He teased.

I laughed softly as I walked to my car. I got in, turned it on, its ignition roaring to life.

He leaned into my window. "Hey, who knows. Maybe we'll see each other again someday."

"Someday." I whispered back weakly.

"Someday, doll." He winked back sadly.

I drove away, thanking him for everything he had done for me. It broke my heart to see those green eyes for the last time.

I was just leaving when I looked in my rear view mirror. He was standing alone in the parking lot, waving goodbye at me like a fool. I swear I could see his green eyes sparkling from here.

I don't know why I stopped. Don't ask, but I don't know why I turned back. Like I said, I guess, it was always more fun to have someone around right?

I pulled up next to him and hopped out of my car, face to face with him.

"Having second thoughts?" He smirked.

"I-" I began to speak, but before I knew it, we were mere inches from each others faces. He leaned in quickly, and I did too, not knowing what I was doing. He cupped my face, his surprisingly soft hands felt cold against my cheeks, as he kissed me gently. The kiss wasn't rough, like with Dean, or forced, like with Charlie. It was gentle, but passionate, like something that was waiting to happen. We held the kiss for a while, until we both decided we needed to breathe.

"Yes." I said breathlessly. God, what was I doing?

"Yes?" He asked looking into my eyes.

"Yes, you can come."

"Smart choice, pretty girl." He teased.

"Just get in!"
