I made my way to Phoenix's apartment. It wasn't hard to remember where he lived, this town was pretty small.

On the way there I told myself this would work. It had to. It would. I knew it would, because I always got what I wanted, one way or another.

Once I had arrived, I walked up the stairs and shakily started to knock on the door.

Did I really want to do this? I had to. I owed it to Ryder. He had helped me through a lot. I could do this. It was nothing.

I scoffed. I couldn't believe how soft I was getting. Sleeping with some guy was nothing. For gods sake, I had killed people. Had. I wish it wasn't "had". I swear I went crazier everyday. Some people have their drugs, their alcohol, or their favorite feeling. Everyone is addicted to something. I'm just a little different. Addicted to killing, if you would say.

I knocked on the door and soon I heard footsteps getting closer.

"Took up his offer huh?" A playful voiced Blaze said.

I rolled my eyes and gave him an equally playful smile back.

He left as he saw Phoenix making his way over to see who was at the door. A devilish smile formed on his face as soon as he saw me.

"Smart choice, babe." He sneered.

"Get this in your head, I just want Ryder back. Alive." I spat, staring at him coldly. "Got it?"

I ran my finger down the side of his jawline teasingly.

"Yeah he's got it alright." Blaze laughed, his snickers echoing from the living room.

"Get outta here!" Phoenix yelled playfully, waving his hands at Blaze.

"Kicking me out already?" Blaze whined. "Don't I get a turn?" That goofy half smile never seemed to leave.

He left after Phoenix basically threw him out.

"How much do you care for Ryder?" Phoenix asked me softly, as he closed the door behind him. He slithered towards me dangerously.

"Enough to be here." I replied blankly.

"But how much?" He continued, breathing into my neck. I swear the whole world could hear my heart beating a million times per second.

"A lot." I said sharply as he pulled me closer.

"Then show me." He replied roughly, as I gave in and let him do what he wanted.
