NIGHTINGALES PAIN

Sitting alone on the side lines

As everyone is passing me by

Seeing their distant stares

Reading into everyones lie

Oh im done waiting for you

But I've waited long enough

But you aren't ever going to come

Hearing you strum the cords of your guitar

Seeing you having the time of your life

Just to watch you pass me by

Well I grow tired as the knighting gale sings his lonesome song tonight

If you've ever been left alone in the rain

Finding your the only one dancing

When the music has already come to an end

Then you've felt the nightingales pain

Seeing you smile and hug her

Finding anyway to be near

Tugs at the place in my heart and

I know that you'll always be here

I didnt think it would bother me

But you know I always want what I can't have

No, I've wanted you since she came along

She's poison and your diving in

The nightingale who sings alone

Who stays awake when everyone is long gone

The one who just can't find peace

And the one who strung along

But I am tired of singing this song

And I won't wait till the end

No I will clean up my act again

And then I will soon be gone

But don't tell me that you miss me

And don't try to get me back when I leave

The nightingale never listens

To those who are too late to plead.................
