On your dresser stood the white animal mask with red designs over it that lord 3rd gave you and put it on. "I totally forgot how uncomfortable this mask was," you groaned to yourself as you walked down the stairs and towards the door.
"Well, I'm off Ciel and Luna, bye love ya!" You yelled as you slipped on your ninja sandals and ran out the door.
"My first mission in forever, I'm ready!"
Good Friends
"Okay, I think I remember the way to the entrance now." You bounced onto a nearby roof. You started going roof to roof trying to see if you were heading the right way. After a few minutes of traveling in different directions, you finally found your way to the entrance of Konoha. Two figures started to vaguely appear as you gradually approached the entrance. Your two teammates. You dropped down from off the roof and preceded to walk the rest of the way.
"You're 4 minutes late, (Y/N)," a familiar voice announced.
"Ah... yea, sorry about that I lost my way," you said scratching the back of your neck a little embarrassed. Both of your teammates turned to look at you taking off their masks to greet you. It was Kakashi and Tenzo (Aka Yamato if you didn't know).
Instantly recognizing the boy standing next to Kakashi, you blurred out, "Kinoe! Its been forever, I didn't expect to be going on a mission with you." You said taking off your mask.
"(y/n)! You're alive, you were gone for so long!" Tenzo said in relief going to hug you. you were confused why he was hugging you.
*flashback*
"Everyone, this is Kinoe and he will be joining the Anbu Black Ops," Danzo announced to the whole division. There stood a boy with long brunette hair going beyond his shoulders, a happuri-style forehead protector that framed his face, similar to the second Hokage's leaf headband. He wore the standard Anbu attire. You weren't paying attention to anything Danzo was saying.
"Is this new kid a boy or girl?" you thought to yourself. The kid had physical features that resembled a boy but the long hair was throwing you off. "Maybe I'll ask later."
*Time skip*
You were outside training for your next mission when you saw everyone starting to crowd around the new kid.
"Maybe I should ask after everyone leaves." You thought to yourself as you threw a kunai at the log.
Everyone ended up leaving except for you and Kinoe. Kinoe came next to you and started to throw kunai's too.
"Hey kid, welcome to the Anbu Black Ops," you said throwing a kunai at your target.
"Thanks, my name is Kinoe by the way." He said also throwing a kunai.
"My name is (Y/N), nice to meet you Kinoe." You spoke excitingly. You stopped throwing your kunai's and turned to shake hands with Kinoe. You both shook hands.
"I know this is a rather rude question but... are you a boy or girl?" You asked, trying not to sound mean.
"Oh well, I'm a boy," Kinoe said a little offended.
"Oh, I'm sorry if I offended you," you said.
"Its fine, I been asked that question all day, I know I have long hair but I don't think I look like a girl." He replied.
"Well, I kinda figured you were a boy but you had long hair so I wasn't sure," You said.
"Oh well, now you know haha," Kinoe gave an awkward laugh.
"It's getting dark. I should get going, we could hang out or something tomorrow," you said with a welcoming grin on your face.
"Yeah sure, why not I have nothing else better to do," Kinoe said while shrugging.
"Okay, well see you tomorrow then Kinoe!" You said, going to hug him then running off.
Ever since that day, you and Kinoe grew to be great friends.
*End flashback*
"So, we are best friends hm," you thought as you hugged Tenzo back.
"Oh yeah (Y/N), I don't go by 'Kinoe' anymore, my brand-new name is Tenzo," the brunette boy said proudly.
"Ah, I see. Though, what happened to your hair!! It's very short now!" You said examining his hair.
"Yeah I cut it, you like it?" he asked.
"Yeah it's nice. It fits your face," you said with a smile.
"Okay guys, it was nice catching up but we have a mission," Kakashi said plainly as he started to walk out of the village.
You and Tenzo nodded your heads and followed.

short chapter but hey I have a lot of homework and an Essay. Sorry that there isn't a lot of Kakashi right now but in these next few chapters there will be. I made Yamato your best friend cuz like I love him soooo much as a character. I should go write my essay now so Bye bye <3 thankss for reading!!!
