Robin and Phantom talked for about an hour before Robin figured that he should leave and the two said goodbye to each other. Robin went back home and he continued to try hacking into the governments systems to see why they were looking for Phantom. He still wasn't willing to tell the others what Phantom had told him since he promised not to.

Batman had tried asking him several times but Robin wouldn't say a thing, he just kept working. Batman went out for patrol that night and because Batman was silently hoping Robin would find something he let him stay home. Batman had stopped two muggings, three store robberies, and a few other crimes, by then he was a bit tired.

He was about to get back in the batmobile but a voice stopped him, "Hello Batman."

Batman looked in the direction the voice came from, "Catwoman."

Catwoman's usual sly smile was nowhere to be seem which confused Batman, "I've heard a few rumors, I want to know if they're true."

Batman raised an eyebrow, "What rumors."

"I heard the League caught someone, a teen with white hair."

Batman wondered if he should tell her or not but in the end he decided that it couldn't hurt, "We did, why do you care?"

Catwoman actually glared at him, "If you hurt him I'll never forgive you, why did you lock him up in the first place?"

Batman was shocked but he didn't show it, "What do you mean?"

Catwoman sighed, "He's not a bad person, he saved my life."

Batman eyes widened just a little, "What?"

"Joker was after something I stole so he came after me, he managed to trap me and he would have killed me. The kid must have seen it because he came out of nowhere and beat Joker and his goons. He helped me get away, after that I'd hear about him from time to time but I never saw him again."

Batman's mind seemed to be going a million miles an hour, the teen had saved Catwoman? Catwoman looked straight at Batman, "I don't know why the League locked him up but he's a good kid." Catwoman disappeared after that, Batman wasn't sure what to think at this point but he was going to find out.

Batman went to the batcave and did anything and everything he could think of but he couldn't find anything on the mysterious teen. He still couldn't find anything and it was giving him a headache, why couldn't he find anything? Alfred found him in the Batcave and brought him some water and headache medicine.

Not even ten minutes later Robin stormed into the Batcave and he looked pissed, "Bruce!"

Bruce currently had his cowl off and he wondered what the hell made Robin so angry. Bruce gave Robin a shocked and confused look, "What's going on?"

Robin had walked over to where he and Alfred were by now, Bruce saw that Robin looked alarmingly pale for some reason. Robin practically growled out his next words, "We're not giving him to the government."

While Batman had been out Robin had continued to try and find out why the government wanted Phantom. About an hour before Batman got home he finally got his answer, he found a file that was named Phantom so Robin clicked on it. What he saw horrified him, there were reports for tests on Phantom, pictures, videos, and other things he wished he had never seen.

There was a file that also had personal information on Phantom and he hesitated for several minutes before he clicked on it. He found out that his real name was Daniel Fenton but he went by Phantom now. He was called a halfa, half human and half ghost, Robin had a hard time believing the ghost part but after everything he's seen he figured that it wasn't that hard to believe.

There was a picture of Phantom's human form, he had black hair and blue eyes, he was smiling in the picture. Robin stared at the picture for a minute before he continued looking through the information. Phantom was first seen in a town called Amity park but after a little less then a year Phantom and the ghosts he use to fight disappeared.

No one is sure why Phantom disappeared but a lot of people had come up with their own reasons why. Daniel Fenton also disappeared and his family and friends had said that it was Phantom's fault and they'd hunt Phantom down. There were articles people had written about Phantom and Robin read all of them and he was shocked.

At first people wondered if Phantom was a good guy or not but as time went on people agreed that he was there to help. Robin looked at the things they had done to Phantom again and he couldn't believe it, it made him sick. Apparently Phantom had managed to escape several times but he had been caught again every time.

Robin didn't know how Phantom managed to keep fighting this whole time, he had been through so much. Robin was sure that he was pale but he didn't care, he needed to talk to Bruce and he needed to do it now. Robin was pissed that someone had hurt Phantom that badly, if the League gave Phantom to the government he'd give them hell.

Bruce had never seen Robin this angry or this serious, whatever Robin had found must have been bad. Bruce looked straight at Robin, "Did you find something?"

Robin had clenched his hands into fists, "Yeah."

Alfred looked confused, he had heard about what was going on from Bruce and Robin but he wasn't sure why Robin was so angry. "What did you find master Richard?"

Robin shook his head, "The worst thing I have ever seen, it was horrible, I have no idea how anyone can go through that."

Bruce and Alfred were very concerned at this point, Bruce hesitated for a split second, "What was it?"

Robin sighed, "I don't think he'd be okay with people knowing, I just know that we shouldn't give him to the government." Bruce observed Robin for a minute, he was pale and shaking from not only anger but because of whatever he saw. Bruce knew that whatever he found was unsettling, at the very least, and he didn't want to force Robin to tell him what it was.

Robin felt like punching something, he'd love to break a few of the jaws of the agents that had hurt Phantom. The only reason he didn't was because he was supposed to be one of the good guys so he settled for silently fuming. Phantom was still half human, not only that but being a ghost just meant you died so what made them think it was okay to hurt Phantom?

Bruce thought for a moment before he spoke, "I'll talk to the League tomorrow and we can let him go. I'd like to see if I can talk to him before we let him go but we won't keep him locked up." Robin smiled as his anger seemed to disappear for a moment, Phantom was going to be let go.
