It had been almost two weeks since the team ran into Phantom when he was being shot at. The team told Batman what happened and Robin still refused to tell them what he knew, they weren't his secrets after all. Robin called Phantom every day to make sure he was okay, Phantom said his injuries had healed which calmed the hero down.

Robin hated even thinking about Phantom getting hurt, he wished Phantom wouldn't have to be in danger all the time but Phantom was fine with his life. If Phantom needed help then Robin would help him but otherwise he'd just make sure that Phantom was okay. Phantom appreciated the fact that Robin wouldn't do anything against his wishes.

The white haired teen was in a tree he planned on sleeping in that night, it was better then sleeping on the ground. Phantom got lost in thought before he got a call and he answered it, "Hello."

"Hey Phantom, I'm really hoping I can ask for your help right now." It was Robin.

Phantom raised an eyebrow, "What's going on?"

"Joker kind of cornered Batman and I, we're not doing too well right now."

"Where are you?" Robin told Phantom where he and Batman were and the halfa nodded, "I'll be there in ten, just hang on."

Robin sounded confused, "Ten, ten what?" Phantom hung up and Robin sighed, "He hung up, what does he mean by ten?"

Batman appeared at his side a second later, "What are you doing?" Before Robin could answer the two heard fighting and once it stopped the two looked out of where they were hiding. Phantom was in the middle of the room and all of Joker's goons were knocked out around him.

Phantom was glaring at Joker who looked nervous, the halfa growled, "You fucked up clown."

Joker tried to act normal by laughing, "I didn't expect to see you again."

Phantom growled again before he knocked Joker out as well and he rubbed his wrist, he had injured it that day and it hurt like hell. Batman and Robin left their hiding place and Phantom looked at them, "I still hate this clown."

Batman looked at Phantom, "When did you get here?"

"About ten seconds after Robin called me."

Robin gave Phantom a strange look, "So by ten you meant ten seconds."

Phantom resisted the urge to smirk, "Yeah, so what's the story behind this whole mess anyway?"

Robin knew exactly how all of this started, he and Batman were on patrol when they found out that Joker robbed a bank. After a while they managed to track him down but the whole thing was a trap and they fell for it. The two tried to fight but there were too many of them so they had to hide and try to think of a plan.

Robin got separated from Batman and he decided that calling for help wasn't a bad idea. The first person he thought of was Phantom, it wasn't the worst idea ever so he called Phantom. Robin sighed, "It's a long story."

Phantom was about to answer but he heard police sirens and he bit back a growl, "We'll talk later." Phantom disappeared and the duo wondered where he went but they didn't have much time to think about it because the police came through the door. Joker and his men were taken away and Robin was pretty sure he knew where Phantom was so he headed toward the roof.

Phantom was standing on the roof with his hands in his pockets looking at the lights of Gotham city. Robin walked onto the roof first and Batman followed, the teen looked at them from over his shoulder but soon turned back to the lights. Robin smiled, "Thanks for the help Phantom."

Batman hesitated for a second before he spoke, "Thank you."

Phantom hummed and Robin looked slightly concerned, "What's wrong?"

Phantom was quiet for a second, "I can't remember a time when someone ever thanked me." Batman looked a bit confused but Robin just looked sad, Phantom looked like he was deep in thought for a minute. The halfa shrugged a little, "Oh well, anyway I have places to go and people to avoid so I'll be going."

Phantom ran toward the edge of the roof before he jumped off, the two were a bit shocked and when they ran over to the edge Phantom was gone. Robin sighed before he laughed a little, "He's going to give someone a heart attack one day."

It wasn't long before the two decided to go back to the Batcave and Batman once again asked questions about Phantom but Robin wouldn't answer them. When they got home Robin took the elevator up to the mansion while Batman sat at the batcomputer and thought. He wondered, not for the first time, who Phantom really was, who was the mystery teen?

He saved Catwoman from Joker and now he's helped save him and Robin from the same clown. Robin was sure that Phantom wasn't a bad person and Batman was inclined to believe him but he still had so many questions. All he knew was that Phantom had a lot of secrets that he wanted to keep hidden and Batman didn't know why.

Batman quietly sighed, maybe he should try looking for information on Phantom again.
