Chapter 5

It was around 6pm and the sun was just about setting. I decided to take a stroll down the beach.
When I got down there I took my sandals off and sat on the sand watching the worlds most beautiful sight... a sunset. I could feel the sand between my toes. The beach looked abandoned as it was only me. In the far distance I could see somebody else but I didn't take any notice. I was in my baggy dark blue hoodie, black leggings and my wavy hair in a loose bun. I was nice to feel relaxed and have nobody around.
As the shadow of someone came closer. I saw it was Sal.
"Sal?" I asked. He came into the light to reveal himself.
"Hey Jess" he said. I patted a patch of sand next to me, implying for him to sit there. He sat next to me.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him.
"Nice to take a stroll in the late summer nights" he said to me.
"Wow I wasn't expecting that" I joked to him.
"What are you doing here?" Sal asked.
"Needed a break" I told him.
"From what?" He asked.
"A lot" I laughed.
He smiled at me.
"Your not what I was expecting" sal said to me mysteriously.
"What do you mean?" I asked. He just smiled and looked into the distance.
"It's beautiful" Sal said.
"I know!" I said presuming he was talking about the beach. He turned to me and looked deeply into my eyes and said
"Yep... the views are beautiful"
