Chapter 23 : Why not Me?

Y/N's POV
"Why? Why it must be you? Breath please......"
I continued crying. Sob beside him.
Jennie went behind me. She back hug me while Mr Kang hold my shoulder.
I wipe my tears.
"Father, everythings gonna be alright. Stay still yeah." I assured my unconscious father.
Yeah my own father is shot by Lee Joon.
He saved his bestfriend which is Jennie's father.
Mr Kim Bum cried. "Buddy, you should not done that."
"Mr Kang. Drive me to hospital now! My brother's hospital. Ask Joshua to ride my bike home."
"Roger sir." He quickly take his action.
Mr Kang is about to carry my father but I shoved his hand away.
"Let me do instead Mr Kang."
"But you are injured sir."
"He's my father afterall. Lets go."
I turn to Jennie. "Sorry Jennie. My father needs me."
"Take me with you oppa."
I closed my eyes and nodded.

—-time skip to hospital—
Enn's POV
My brother, his teams , Jennie and his father come to my hospital.
I saw my brother carry our father and run to me. Blood everywhere on their arms.
"Hyung, what happen?"
"Father is being shot. Please save him Enn." He shake my body. He's crying.
"No worries. You guys wait outside."

Jennie's POV
I feel bad. Because of me.. y/n faced many situation.
But the most important is whats with Lee Joon?
I never seen him before.
Whats with my father?
My father remain silent.
Y/n keep on crying silently.

The nurse approach y/n. She insist to treat y/n's wound.
"Abeoji.. you should go home." Y/n hold my father's shoulder.
My father look at him. "I feel bad. So-sorry y/n"
He sat up and hug y/n which y/n still stood in front of him.
Y/n hug him back. "Not your fault abeoji. Please go home. I will ask them to send you back home." I saw y/n smiled.
My father nodded. "Jennie, please comfort your husband well." He whispered to me.
I nodded eagerly.
I saw y/n keep walking and bite his nails.
"Oppa??"
"Ye-yeah Jennie?" His sound calm.
I wonder how he can manage his feeling well.
His dad is on bad condition.
But he still nice to me.
The door suddenly swung open reveal Kim Enn.
Y/n approach him. I follow y/n as well.
"Hows dad?"
Enn silent .
"How was dad ? Answer me Enn!"
He shake Enn's body.
Enn looked away. "Dad is in coma state. Lets pray for him. I take my leave first hyung."
With that Enn walk away and wipe his tears.
Y/n kneel down. His tears keep falling.
I kneel down as well and give him tight hug.
"Im with you oppa."
"Jen.."
"Yeah?" I broke the hug.
"I wanna go out for a while."
"Let me follow you."
"No need. Just stay here please."
I didnt manage to reply anything. He walk away and headed outside.

Y/n's POV
I need time alone.
Its not like I put the blame on Jennie's family.
My mother arrived just now. She keep on crying.
I cant help it. What can i say is "sorry eomma. I didnt manage to save him."
My mother pat my shoulder, "its ok y/n." She then smiled.
My mother always be a positive woman.
I headed outside. Its raining.
I kneel down. I continue cry and cry

"Why it must be you appa?? Why not me instead??" I shouted. Because i know nobody can hear me.
Im tired.

Jennie's POV
Why y/n took so long?
I headed outside. Its raining.
I saw oppa alone. Sitting alone at the ground.
I saw he continue cry and cry.
I walk approach him.

He turn around and hug me. I pat her back.
"Shh oppa. Im here with you."

"Thanks Jennie. Lets go inside."
He broke the hug . He take my hand and intertwined our hand.
We walk inside. He then release the hand hold. Then we sit at the chair which is at the waiting room.
We remain silent.
I think i should not mess up with him cause i know he face a terrible situation.
Soon i turned my head to face him cause i think i should break the silent.
"Oppa..are you—" he cut me off
i saw he is trembling. HIs face pale.
"Y/n... are you okay?" I worried. Is it his trauma came again?
He will be like this if he too scared of something.
Besides of roller coaster, his father condition is one of his trauma.
He shake his head eagerly. This situation once again remind me of our childhood and the roller coaster.

I grab his face to turn to me. I kissed his right cheek. Seems like he's not trembling anymore.

"Jennie.. why it must be him inside? Why not me?"
Then he faced me.
"I feel bad Jennie. Im supposed to be on coma state not him."
I put my fingertip to his lips.
"Oppa.. if you are on that situation? How bout me? Do you want to leave me?"
My tears falling.. i blink my eyes repeatedly.
Then i cupped his face. I trace his jawline and lips with my fingers.
"Jen.. i never leave you. I love you."
He wipe my tears away and pull me into kiss.

I can feel the sadness through this kiss..
I can feel his hot tears from his cheek that falling.
He broke the kiss and connecting our forehead.
"Jen, no matter what happen. Please remember i love you."

Lee Joon's POV
"Yura, kill Kim y/n. This is my order."
"No way. I love him."
"Then see you at the hell."
I aim my gun at her .
