We stood in silence for what felt like forever,
She looked different,
She dyed her hair blonde and cut it short and was wearing a dress,
"Your on the news",She informs,
Me and James look at each other and take a deep breath,
"He was a rapist",James blurted out,
She stared at up blankly and sighed,
"Come on , then",She moves aside and let's up

The awkwardness was killing me,
Alyssa passed a smoke to her dad as we sat there and watched,
"They're in trouble",Alyssa sighed,
"You pregnant?",Leslie asked looking up at me,
I let out a loud laugh,
"I wish that was it",I took the smoke from her and puffed,
"We didn't know where else to go",I said before he could ask,
"Well your safe as houses here",He sat back,

"You alright James?",He asked looking over at him,
He didn't speak he just gave him two thumbs up making me laugh,

Leslie gave us the sofa to sleep on which was terrible because I got no sleep,

But the good thing is we're safe here,
