It's been six days since Uqbah asked for my hand in marriage and I still haven't made a decision.. I talked to mum and dad about it and they both said to follow my heart..
I like him.. I really do but I'm scared.. What if he finds out about Jabbar and hates me?..
I have to talk to him about Abdul Jabbar,"I said pacing the room...
So I texted Hameedah to meet me at the coffee shop close to school since she was still in school...
Forty minutes later, Hameedah walked into the cafe looking so angry and tired
I officially hate maths, " She said
Haha, let me guess another terrible maths class, " I replied laughing
It's not funny Fatimah, that man is the worst teacher I have ever known.. It's like he let's out his frustrations on his students, it's not our fault his wife is giving him a tough time or whatever family problem he has, " Hameedah said
Calm down dear, it would be over soon, " I said trying to cheer her up
I can't wait, " She said
We ordered for our preferred coffee
So what's up? Have u decided already? Is it a Yes or a No? ,"Hameedah asked,
Sighing, I shook my head
What?, " Hameedah yelled, you are going to say No? I thought u liked him too..
No no that's not what m saying ," I said, I haven't made the decision yet... I'm confused.. What if he finds out about Abdul Jabbar and hates me

I hastily texted Uqbah to meet me at the coffee shop and impatiently waited for him

Jazakum lahu kayran, " I said, you know this is an important part of me and I can't help but get scared
