ELIJAH WATCHED AS EVER CLIMBED on top of him for what felt like the millionth time that afternoon. Miami had finally comprised and allowed the twins to stay with him for a little. She missed her babies dearly, but she knew that they needed time with their father also.
For the past few days, the three of them had been tucked inside the house getting to know each other. E had learned that Ever was way more easy going than August. She immediately clung to her father while August had been a little more distant and to himself. Currently, Elijah and Ever were supposed to be napping but it was evident that she wasn't familiar with it because she was not complying. She was way too excited and every moment that E felt his eyes drifting off, she would climb on top of him, lean over, and pry them right back open.
That alone let him know that she loved attention. A characteristic that she adapted from Miami. E remembered the times she would be all up under him. She hated for the two to go minutes without being with or touching up on each other.
"Up." She pulled his head up towards herself and groaned. "You heavy man."
Elijah couldn't help but to laugh. Ever was honestly a whole goofball. Within the little time they had spent together, she had him laughing every second. "You a whole goof." He kissed her nose and watched as she squealed in excitement.
