A day at the beach

Brittany's POV

We were now getting ready to go to the beach, it was super hot outside and I have been waiting for this all day.
It's Monday so we have been in school all day but Dave promised to take all the chipmunks to the beach, about two miles away from here.

-I'm so exited! Eleanor says while packing down her green swimsuit with white dots in her backpack.

Jeanette agrees while also picking her swimsuit, but her is purple and has blue stripes. I have a bikini, pink ofcourse, and I carefully place it in my new expensive handbag that I bought last week.

-Let's go! I say and grab my sunglasses and place them in my hair like a headband and place my handbag over my shoulder.
We walk down the stairs to meet the chipmunks, who also have their bags full with stuff.
Alvin looks cool, with his black glasses over his eyes and his t-shirt instead of that sweater because it's so hot outside.
I'm wearing a pink tank top with a white skirt and white ballerina slip ons.

Dave takes our stuff and we walk to the car with the chipmunks.
Jeanette walks with Simon and they nervously look at eachother. They are so cuuute!

Me, Alvin, Theo and Ellie walk together and then we all jump in the car.
I sit next to Eleanor and Simon.
Alvin sits in the front seat with Dave and next to Simon is Jeanette.

-Dave, go go! What are you waiting for?? Alvin says and jumps up and down in his seat.

-Alvin! Put your seatbelt on! Dave screams back and looks angry at him.
Dave is waiting for Theo, who forgot his sunscreen or something, and ran away to get it.

After everybody is in the car, we drive to the beach. When we are there, we jump out and run to the beach to get a deck chair.
Because we are so small, we could all share one.
As we change to bikinis, we go behind some bush and quickly put on our swimwear.
When we go outside, we see that Alvin and the other chipmunks have done the same.
Alvin comes over to me and takes a good stare and then smiles big.

-Well, damn, he whispers and I roll my eyes at him. "You look hot"

-You're not so bad yourself! I say back and he looks proud and slaps his abs.
I laugh.

We get closer and now stands shoulder to shoulder and watch the others.
Simon just glares at Jeanette who is too busy looking at a turtle who is crawling on her leg.
He is not very discreet.
Alvin walks over to him.

-Ey, Si.. he says and take his arm on his shoulder and leans off on it.

-You're not so discreet with that stare on yours! He says teasing and Simon looks mad.

-Ey! That's not funny!

Jean look up and Simon stops and smile at Jeanette instead for chasing Alvin. Cute.

We all spend the day at the beach.
Theo has an hour in probably bought three ice creams already.
Eleanor just giggles at him every time he asks Dave for more money. And Dave wants everybody to stay calm and happy so he agrees.

I lag in the sand, on a towel and reads my fashion magazine.
I hope to get some color, maybe a tan line.

-What are you reading? Alvin comes up to me saying after playing in the ocean with Simon.
I show him my magazine and he makes a "still don't get it" face.

-It's just the greatest fashion magazine on this planet!! I say and he then goes "ahaa" and nods.

-Then you don't mind if it gets wet? He says and I make a confused face.

But then I see that he got a water pistol hidden behind his back and starts to shoot on the paper.
I scream and run after him while he runs away. I follow him with quick feet and can feel the sand tickle under my toes as I run, and my tail is up in the air.
When I finally catch him, I forget why I'm even mad.
Now we are so far away from the others, so we can't see them.

-Should we? He say and looks at me with a mischievous smile and I smile at him.

-Oh shut up! I say and grab him in for a kiss. He kisses back and puts his arms around me and I can feet his hands going here and there until he stars carry me.
I laugh out loud and he turns me around and spin.
Everybody around must think we are crazy, two chipmunks who are in love and acting like silly humans.
But I don't care.
