Yuri's Afterimage (A DDLC Fan-Fic) (Yuri x Male Reader)

Prologue

A/N: For those who have never read a xReader story here are the definitions. also, you are not protag-kun (the one who is best friends with Sayori, etc) he doesn't exist in this world.

It's your first day at your new high school and you are already running late for your first class,

'Great' you thought as you ran through your school's hallways

You have never been to such a big school before, lockers line up against the walls with only the occasional stop for an entrance to a classroom. Your first class is chemistry, you decided to take it even though you were terrible at science.

 You're almost at your class when you notice a girl walking in the opposite direction, with coral brown hair and emerald green eyes, the beauty of her causes you stumble and bail face first on the ground

"Owww" You Groan 

"A-Are you alright?" She asks, 

"Yeah, I guess," You respond as she helps you up

"I'm Monika!" She says cheerfully 

"I'm Y/N" You reply with a fake smile

"You must be new, I've never seen you before!" She says 

"Yeah, I am," You respond shyly, "Hey do you know where the Chemistry room is?" You say before she leaves

"Oh yeah, of course! It's the second classroom on your right!" She says trotting away

You've seen girls like her before, the popular one, always seem nice, then backstab you when you least expect it...

When you get to your class, the door is closed, you decide to knock gently on the door and the teacher answers the door

"Ah, Y/N, we were expecting you," your teacher says, ushering you in

"Class, this is Y/N, can you welcome him to our school?" He says prompting the class 

"Hi Y/N," they all say in unison

You stand in front of the class awkwardly for a few seconds until the teacher tells you to take a seat

As you look at the possible seat selections, one catches your eye, right beside a beautiful girl with long violet hair, currently looking out the window and lost in her own world

When you take the seat, the class begins, but you can't take your eyes off her, how can a girl be so beautiful? 

The class seems to be over before you know it, you didn't even have the chance to take notes, although it was mostly because you were staring at this girl

As you leave the class you're heart races as she wakes up to you

"W-What were y-you staring at?" She says

"M-Me? I was... uh..." You say

"Its alright I know I'm weird, you don't have to tell me," she says shyly

"NO! You're not... to be honest, you're very pretty," You say rubbing the back of your head

"Y-You really think so?" she asks, blushing

"Well yeah, of course," You say

"Thanks," She says, "My name is Y-Yuri," she states looking down shyly

"My name's Y/N," You say smiling at her sweetly 

"So, what's your next-" You begin to say but then notice she's not there anymore,

"Where did she go?" You say, talking to yourself

Throughout the day you try to find Yuri, you tried finding her in between classes, at lunch and even after school, but you just couldn't find her 

When school officially ends, you head home, it's always lonely at your house, especially since your that anti-social type guy... you know the one who plays video games and watches anime

As you walk to your house, the only thing you can think about is Yuri, even when you get to your house the only thing you can think about is Yuri

You decided to watch (favourite anime here) to get your mind off things, it seems to work for a little while, but your mind keeps going back to the thought of Yuri

You end up going to sleep earlier than usual because your mind just can't seem to stop thinking of Yuri, 

"Okay, If I just go to sleep, everything will be back to normal..." You whisper to yourself

As you close your eyes, the afterimage of Yuri floats in your brain...
