Chapter 1

MULTIPLE YEARS AFTER

You wake up, still incredibly tired but you have no choice but to get up because its the first day of school

 You jump up from your bed and quickly get dressed in your schools uniform, you quickly make yourself some breakfast and head out the door

"H-Hey Y/N," You hear a shy girls voice say as you walk out the door

"Oh, hey Yuri... I thought you were going to school early today?" You state, prompting her to explain

"I... uhh... well I just-" Yuri stutters but you cut her off 

"It's fine! I enjoy your company," You say smiling  at her

Yuri exhales a breath of relief, as you and her walk to school together in silence

"Are you going to join a club?" Yuri asks me, her sparkling violet eyes filled with hope

You're aware that both you and Yuri aren't the most social people, but this year Yuri has been trying to convince you to join a club,

"Yeah! Of course Yuri!" You say, smirking at her 

Her face goes bright red, and you both stare forward and continue to walk for a little bit until you arrive at school

"Okay... see ya after school!" You say to Yuri, as you guys run to your separate classes

When you get to class you go to your desk at the back of the class,

You're about to doze off a little bit before class but you're approached by a girl

"Hey Y/N! Yuri told me you're looking to join a club!" A girl with emerald eyes says to you

"Oh, hey Monika... I didn't know that you and Yuri were friends," You say looking at her jokingly

"Well... I," Monika starts

"Nah I get it, you invited Yuri to this club already didn't you?" You smile innocently

"Ahh... yeah I did..." Monika looks off to the side making a mental note to herself

"Anyways, I'm the president of a new club in the school! It's a literature club... do you want to join?" Monika asks smiling

"Sure, I guess," You say shyly,

'Why would Monika want me in her club?' You think to yourself 

The rest of the day goes fairly fast you and Yuri had lunch together, you noticed she doesn't really say much unless you two are alone, Yuri did mention the literature club though:

"D-Did Monika a-ask y-you to j-join the l-literature club?" Yuri stutters out, she seems to be nervous from all the people staring at us

"Yeah, she did..." You say smiling lightly

Yuri is staring straight down at her lap, her cheeks as red as a tomato

"Hey, Yuri..." She brings her head up, so her eyes  meet yours, "I-I uhhh..." Her perfect violet eyes cause you to lose your train of thought

"N-Nevermind," You say retreating into your bag, looking for some water

"Oh Y/N... you're so weird..." She says looking off to the side

Thinking of what happened at lunch made you blush as you leave the school grounds

"Y/N!!!" You heard a girl yell from the front door of the school

You turn around to see Monika by the door trying to wave you down 

"Forgetting something?" She says, looking at her sternly

"tsk...what a drag," You say under your breath, ambling back to school to sign up for Monika's literature club

You follow Monika into a classroom and she points to a piece of paper that reads 'Sign-Up Sheet for The Literature Club'

There are currently four names on the sheet, Yuri, Sayori, Natsuki and Monika

You can only recognize two names: Yuri and Monika

You quickly write your name down on the piece of paper and walk outside...
