Walking to school, Anthony meets his friends at the school gate, Margret Juarez, a girl with green contacts and bushy brown hair, and Javier Nichols, a boy of large proportions and mastering the art of Kung Fu, also loving food. The weekend was over. And Anthony never looked foward to going to school, especially on mondays.
''ayyyyyyyy Wat up" playfully calls Margaret.
''is ya boi, squidtakular '' chimes in Javier.
'' hahahahahaha, how's yaa doin gaiiyyyyyyyyssss, letz see if we can get this video to five million likes and I will purchase Lego gift cards for my three most dedicated fans, of which I have none, oh yea guys let's duuuuu dis!! ''
All three of them laugh at the small scenario they have created and begin to walk to their class. Realizing they are running late, they dash towards their geography class. Once they arrive they are only thirty seconds late. Panting and gasping the three of them casually walk to their seats. Sitting down as soon as the bell rings.
''aren't we lucky to get here almost late all the time... '' Anthony says while catching his breath.
''why do we always do this? '' Javier questions.
''because you're too fat to walk steadily'' Margaret answers with a side of a fat joke.
'' shut up! Mr. Gouchi is coming! '' Anthony cautiously calls.
'' OK class! We're gonna learn where the countries of Africa are! OK? OK! '' Mr. Gouchi turns on the smart board and flips to the PowerPoint consisting of the countries on Africa.
'' hey I heard there was a mecha battle world level player in our area. '' Margaret tells the news.
'' mecha battle? What's that?... '' Javier asks.
''I'll tell you later, and yes... He is helping my sister practice. '' Anthony answers the two of them.
'' woa really?! ''
'' quiet down! I'm almost done''
'' ... OK... Anyways... Is he really?! ''
'' yea, he wants to help my sister get in the ... Well... Any tournament really ''
'' you think we can join?! ''
'' I would like to try too! ''
'' sure and maybe... I might not join though... ''
''why not?! ''
''... ... ...'' Anthony simply stares deeply into Margaret's eyes... Almost intimidating her.
'' o-ok... Right... ''

The entire class seemingly disappears all except for Anthony, Margaret, and Javier.
Together they leave to their next class and proceed with their day. At school. It's now four fifteen PM and it's time to go home. The three of them walk to Anthony's home to see the 'world level player' in the flesh. Once they arrive Zero is there and ready to greet them. Almost like he new they were coming.
'' mornin' kidins... Good afternoon actually... Ehh... Come in welcome them in Anthony would ya'? ''
'' ..... Who's the edgy man in a tarp? '' asks Margaret.
'' that's the world level player... Named competitor zero. He got here the Friday of last week. ''
'' really? ''
'' yea... He eats alot of Lo'mein and a heck of alot of ramen noodles...''
The microwave beeps loudly, and Zero dashes towards it, taking out a cup of ramen noodles, he move to the counter and places in a flavor packet. Then he proceeds to eat... Alone. OK....?
'' ani! (Japanese word for: brother according to Google) you're home! ''

''what was that? '' Javier asks

'' I dont know what anything is '' Javier questions what is even happening.
'' you!! '' Zero points at Javier.

'' join me as I teach you the ways of mecha battle!!! '' Zero heroically holds out his hand.

Both Zero and Javier leave the room to a different room upstairs.
'' hey Anthony, does your girlfriend know the basics of mecha tournament? ''
'' g-girlfriend?!?!?! ''

Both Margaret and Anthony's face glow red in confusion.
'' yea... Your girl-friend ... As in a female friend. ''

Both Anthony and Margaret lower their heads in embarrassment.

Both of them walk over to Anthony's work room.

In the upstairs living room (because of course they have one) Zero and Javier sit in front of a TV with a flashy screen. Well Javier is sitting, Zero is standing because he is... Zero... Sure.
''what is this? '' Javier asks.
'' it's the tutorial and information video about the mecha battle tournament. But here's a question. Do you fall asleep during lectures? ''
''no... Why? ''
'' good, because I do... Also this isn't a lecture. ''

'' welcome to the Mecha Battle training video, this is where we teach you the basics on the rules, bots, and expectations ''
'' OK sure... ''

'' first thing first. Your machine, robot, super robot, Gundam, battle ship, mecha... Anime girl?... What ever your machine is, as long as it has plastic in its joints and the rest of its body, it WILL move. So robots with mechanical engineering and circuitry, it will have to move on its own. And it will most likely be very slow out there. So it's recommended to not make your machine completely out of metal.when making your robot, it is highly suggested that you improve the paint, plastic, and joints to make your robot stronger. You can make your machine from scratch, or buy a robot and use it, or improve it with custom items. Next is the robot sizes, the max height for a robot is twenty four inches, or two feet tall. The shortest, or smallest, a robot can be is two to three inches tall. Any robot is required to have at most twelve weapons, if your machine has more than twelve weapons, (that are visible), the system can't register all the weapons and thus will not be useful. For the weapons that are not visible, the system will register them as on body weapons, such as head cannons, core beams, or a blade that is attached to the fore arm. Next is the official tournament rules. In the tournament, there can be twelve machines in each team total. Competitors usually come in with teams of three to eight. A one man army or twelve bot team is uncommon though still a possible outcome. Next is machine controls. If a machine deploys smaller robots, the 'deployer' must be the only one who can control them, so battle ships with drones that have an AI is not a possible thing. Also competitors switching robots in-battle is not a thing that is allowed so if your robot is destroyed, it's destroyed. But you are allowed to deploy a smaller robot from within, but success in doing so is very difficult. But when mastered it can be accomplished. Next is how the fights well progress. Each fight is almost fifteen minutes long. The first round is the full on brawl. Where fifteen of the competing teams go head to head at once leaving the last three teams standing as the winners. This repeats until all the selected battles are finished. There is usually a total of two hundred teams. Usually. After the first round of battles, the next is a tag-team battle. Where one robot fights one robot in a tag-team stile battle. Any team eliminated here will be able to go to the losers bracket. Afterwards the the next two rounds in the tournament will proceed with a small twist, ranging from sports themed fights, Switching weapons, Arm wrestling, random weapons and robot switching. When this ends, the losers will now compete in order to get back in the tournament. Only five teams will be able to get back in. Then the tournament will proceed like normal. Before the Grand Final, there will be a event celebrating the love for mecha battle and the grand finalist. In order to get in the main tournament all the competitors must enter the regional qualifiers. Wich proceed the same way as the tournament does, except with smaller quantities. Next is the teams, as said previously, there can be deployable robots while having some requirements, and robots can have a smaller robot inside, we or I forgot to mention that the robot CAN transform AND combine. Only one machine can deploy robots, and official combiners consist of three or more machines, letting a team have four official combiners total. It is recommended to not have a combiner due to the fact that they have a unstable frame. There has been a long history of failed combiners, but only three combiners being successful. The very first combiner we had here is one with the title tryzon three, from team build busters. When using collosal robots, the tallest a model can be is twenty four inches, but in the simulation, it can be as tall as a seventy foot building, just as the normal sized robots are as tall as a ten foot flagpole. or something like that. Zero and Javier proceed to leave the room and enter the kitchen. We then see Anthony and Margaret in the work room, both of them sitting at a desk Wich is surrounded by cabinets stacked ontop on each other. The desk has a painting kit, a small torch, nippers, and sand paper. Anthony and Margaret are sitting next to achieve other, with a sheet of paper having paint stains of red and blue.
'' so you have an idea of what your Gundam is gonna look like? '' Anthony asks.
'' I want my Gundam to be green, my favorite color ''
'' what do you want your Gundam to be based on? ''
'' POWER!! '' Margaret yells out dramatically.
'' OK? I don't have much of an idea now, you wanna try and draw it for me? ''
''Ok '' Margaret opens a small cabinet, and takes out some apartments and pencils, she quickly dashes out the room and heads for the kitchen table. She makes a quick sketch, discards it and makes another. Doing this atleast four times, she returns to the work room with a... Decent drawing. (better than most of my friends atleast)
'' so this is your Gundam huh? OK, I'll see what I can do"
'' oh can I make my design? '' Javier jumps in with a cup of ramen noodles.
'' sure ''
