You said we'll work things out,
Did it hurt when I told you it was getting too hard?
You told me not to give up,
Did it hurt when I slowly started giving up on us?
You told me you will always be here no matter what
Did it hurt when I never gave you the same answer?
You promised we'd make it through all the complications,
Did it hurt when I didn't agree with you?
You told me to stay strong,
Did it hurt when I couldn't be strong for you?
You begged me not to leave,
Did it hurt when I ended up doing just that?...
