Hannah's POV

I saw the smile that once made me feel safe and protected.

That smile that once showed pity on me as if saying:

I hope you understand

And

I'm sorry

The man I had long let go.

Arthur

..........

There was barely any words that left our lips.

Both of us were suprised, no shocked to see each other.

I should say something.

"A-Arthur, y-you're here."

"Yeah."

Why is he staring at me like that? I mean its a given that he hasn't seen me for 2 years but... why?

"You cut your hair."

"Yeah, why? Does it look bad?"

"No! I mean no, it actually suites you."

He noticed that I was slightly taken aback by his way of saying no.

"Umm. As I was saying, I'm here to give you a tour around the campus, so follow me."

"Um. Alright."

I just wanna say that...

THIS IS SO AWKWARD!

We were never this awkward with each other before.

Well, sure. Two years have passed and that's just two years! It's not like we didn't see each other for a decade.

I know a lot had happened ever since he left for America, but yeah back to the main question.

Why is he giving me that look as if he's seen a different species of humans?

Mukha ba akong halimaw?!

I gave him a tour around the campus grounds and all that's left was the indoor basketball court.

"We're at our last stop which is the bas-"

I felt strong arms around myself, embracing me tightly from behind.

"Can we stay like this for a while. Please?"

I nodded in response to his favor.

Why is he doing this now?

Hindi ko napigilan ang utak ko sa pag-alala sa nangyari sa amin.

Hindi, ang nangyari sa akin nung nalaman ko na nag-ayos ng kasalan sila Tito at Tita para kay Arthur.

And all what's left was me. I was an outcast sa relationship ni Arthur and Veronica.

As much as I hate to admit it, I did not fully sever my connections with Arthur.
