She had an event, and she made her come with him. She didn't know it would take that long, so he almost waited for six hours.

"I'm sorry!" she said, trying to catch her breath. "I didn't know it was that long. I'm sorry I made you wait."

"It's okay," he said, winked at her, and kissed her forehead. "I waited for you for twenty—"

"I've heard that," she interrupted and laughed. "But really . . . waiting that long without being mad at me? If I were you, I'm being passive-aggressive already. I must have been a saint in my previous life to have you now."
