Startled, she woke up and checked her messages immediately. She must have slept while waiting for him to come home.
His messages were full of "Love, are you awake?" and "Oh, you might be asleep." But a voice message caught her eye.
He said, "I wish I could have heard your sweet voice today because it comforts me to know that you are there and to let you know that you are still my everyday savior."
