Title- Green for jealousy, which is the main emotion portrayed in this chapter. (Trying to keep my colour theme with the titles!)

Setting- After the Granite Rebellion, but before Aurora and Thanatos are married.

Idea- I wanted Aurora and Thanatos to be tested on her past 'romantic affairs'. It was a fun idea I've always had since book one, when her past boyfriends are mentioned for the first time.

The Green Monster

The large shopping mall was filled with people, but it was almost deadly quiet around us. Every shopper was too mesmerised by the twins to move further than a few steps; some people bumping into aisles.

Thanatos and stood off to the side as Trita and Hypnos argued over what was better; a pleasant picnic by the beach or a fancy lunch in town. The four of us decided to go out for the day and get away from the palace for a bit. Sonya and Barrios had a romantic day planned at the palace and we didn't want to interrupt.

Our home might have been big enough to accommodate everyone without us even running into one another for a good couple of days, but Trita and I thought it would be nice to bring the guys up to Caneyville for a double date.

If only Trita and Hypnos could reach a compromise. People were starting to stare; and not the good kind of staring.

"How long can they argue, gods..." Thanatos sighed and leaned back a bit, his plain red shirt fitted. He looked sexy in his dark blue jeans and his boots; those red eyes turned gold and his hair moved back, some strands hanging over his forehead.

"You mean flirt." I scoffed and folded my arms over my chest.

Thanatos lifted a brow up at me from the side and smiled; "Flirt?"

"Look at them." I said casually, knowing he could see it too. Nothing escaped him. "They've been fighting for more than five minutes and they keep moving closer to the other."

"You know..." Thanatos smirked and shifted his lust-filled eyes back to me; "We do that too."

"Hmm..." I grinned at him with dark eyes; "But we shout too."

"It's not a competition." Thanatos chuckled softly and I laughed, but kept my eyes glued to his.

I answered with a smirk; "Isn't it?"

Thanatos shot the couple a look and pursed his lips. With a quick step, he was standing next to me, his smirk wide and sinister. He leaned down to whisper in my ear; "We always win. So no, there's no competition."

I laughed as he dipped down to ensnare my lips, leaving me breathless and so fulfilled all at once. I moaned softly against his mouth, but just then, a soft voice echoed at the back of my head. A young girl was whispering to her friend; they stood a few feet away from us, their eyes fixed in our direction.
