Sophia Swan was the polar opposite of her twin sister Isabella. Unlike her sister, Sophia was outgoing and not afraid to speak her mind. What some would call rude her friends and family would consider it a part of her shockingly blunt personality.

After a year in the heat of Arizona, Sophia was more than ready to get back to the rainy weather in the over-cast town of Forks, Washington — population 3,100  — where her father and best friend were eagerly awaiting her return.

Sophia thought that life would be much similar to how she'd left it, her friends still there. Jessica and Mike still arguing and as always forever in denial that they had feelings for each other. Eric, who was most likely still attempting to flirt with every girl he laid eyes on but failing miserably. And Angela, still working hard as usual to be the best student she could be.

She wasn't expecting a new family to have started when she left however. The Cullen's, an all adopted family of five, all the same age. The mysterious family kept to themselves, apparently not even bothering to socialise with anyone else in Forks High School.

Even with new faces Sophia didn't think her life would change that much but she was oh, so wrong. She didn't know that running out into a storm one night would change her life as she knew it.
