You were there,
I was here;You were a jock,
I was lonely;But it started with your smile,
And it ended with me crying;You made me feel something,
But I try to fight it and convince myself it was nothing;You reached out your hand,
I gladly took it;
We soared high for years,
Forgetting our tears;You got down on one knee,
I couldn't believe what I could see;You whispered 'I love you,'
I whispered 'I love you too';You grew happier overtime,
But there was something on my mind,You asked me 'Are you feeling fine?'
I answer 'I'm about to die';You shook your head vigorously 'Doctor's wrong, I'm calling her,'
The doctor said it was stage four cancer;You started to cry,
So I held you close that night;Every night you still hold me close to your body,
And I always recall that happy memory,Everyday you still ask if I'm feeling okay,
And I always reply 'I'm here to stay.'THE END!!
