When we woke up this morning I felt like having McDonald's for breakfast. Chris drove me there and treated me. The cashier asked what I wanted I ordered a Steak, egg, & cheese meal, that comes on a bagel and witha hash brown, then I ordered a medium Caramel Frappe.
"Wait," Chis objected.
"What?" I asked cluelessly.
"My mom gave me the whole rundown on this pregnancy thing and you can't have caffiene, so you gotta get a juice or something," he said looking sorry.
"What?!" I asked incredulously. Anybody that knew me, knows that Caramel Frappes were my one guilty pleasure that I simply couldn't live without.
"Do you want an orange juice?" he asked me a little impatiencely, but I didn't care that we were holding up the line.
"No, I don't even want to eat anymore!" I said through my teeth before storming out, crying. I was actually crying.
I was sitting in the car for about five minutes before Chris got in with two bags and the cardboard cupholder with two drink. Both orange juice.
"Here," he said handing over my bag.
I looked at it before reaching for it. I took out my sandwich and bit into it.
"I can get you some frozen hot chocolate with whipped cream and caramel on it," Chris offered thoughtfully.
"It's not the same," I cried out with food still in my mouth.
"Awww, stop crying baby," Chris said leaning over the console hugging me, "you only have five more months."
That made me let out a loud cry, "that's a long time."
"I promise it'll go by fast, just stop crying please?" Chris pleaded.
After about ten minutes of light sobbing, Chris' soothing words, and him caressing my back, I quieted down and continued to eat my food. When Chris pulled off I looked over at him and wondered what made him so patient now-a-days. It was 11:15 when we pulled up at Chris' place. Brandi's car was already parked outside so I know she was ready to see what was so important.
"About time you got here," Sabrina said to him as soon as we walked in the door, "got this girl up and about so early and she's nearly ready to burst."
"I'm sorry, that was my fault," I apologized.
"Aw, what's wrong baby?" she asked me.
"Just a mood swing about something silly."
She smiled and asked what about.
"I just wanted a caramel frappe from McDonald's and it upset me when Chris informed me that I couldn't have caffiene, so he got me this instead," I said frowning hold up my barely touched orange juice.
Then I walked upstairs to Chris' room and grabbed his laptop. While I was logging on to Facebook and Twitter, Tia and Marcus came in to the room.
"Hey, you guys," I said hugging them.
Tia began to rub my stomach, "do you know what you're having yet?"
"No, I find out, not this Wednesday coming up, but the next. Aren't you happy that you're getting a niece though?"
"I mean it's cool, but it's not you."
"Yeah, and I want a nephew," Marcus added.
"That would be nice to have a son," I answered thoughtfully, "But Brandi is nice."
