Only We know

Only we know how it feels to fly
They can say what they want
But they'll never know
How it feels to be that high

Let's wait till it gets dark
So no one can see us go up
Flying up and holding hands
You, The Moon and the stars.

Some might not believe us
Others may say it's wrong
They'll say we're too young
But they'll never know.

Like swimming in the crystalline sea
Like driving with the windows down
Like being outside in a summer night
Lying on the grass, until the sunrise.

Only we know how it feels,
To touch the stars and fly up above
We're so lucky cause we found
What other spend a lifetime looking for.

So believe me if I say it's real
The butterflies that fly inside me
Each time you put your arms around me
Each time you and I get near.

When the sun starts to fade away
And the Moon starts painting the waves
The stars will dance and guide us
To the place where we can really be us.

We won't have to act
It's time to be ourselves
We'll say every little thing
We were once afraid to say.

Only we know who we are

I guess we are like the Moon
