"Well, if it isn't the Belle of the ball." You'd hear someone say behind you. Before you could turn around and look, they grabbed your wrist and twirled you around. You looked up and saw Thomas.
"You look quite marvelous in that dress, Y/N." He'd say with a smirk.
"And you, Thomas, Pink as always." You'd say with an evil grin, knowing how he hated when someone called it pink instead of magenta. He'd frown, and release you from his grasp.
"It's magenta, not pink." He'd say, his face returning to his usual smirk.
"Whatever you say, Mr. Jefferson." You'd say with a small laugh. Someone suddenly grabbed your shoulder and pushed them self in front of you. You looked down to see a small Peggy.
"Leave her alone! Today is our girls day out, and no boys are allowed." She'd say, growling, and looking as if she was about to attack Thomas like a small dog.
"Peggy, settle down. He was only talking to her." Eliza would say, coming up behind you, Angelica following. "The Schuyler sisters, how lovely it is to see you. I hope you are well." Thomas would say with a slight bow. The girls would curtsey.
"We are well, thank you Mr. Jefferson." Angelica would say in a polite and mature tone. She'd turn to you.
"Y/N, we're going to leave soon and go get lunch." She'd say, and you'd nod in response.
"Sounds good, I'm going to use the restroom before we go." Angelica would nod.
"We'll be waiting at the door for you." Eliza would say before she and her sisters walked away. You'd walk down the hall for a little until you found the restroom. You'd walk inside and look in the mirror, and sigh. You wanted to be at the camp doing your job, but you thought it was a good idea to take a break for one day. You'd splash water onto your face, then wipe it off with a paper towel. You'd fix your hair, then leave the restroom, pushing the door open. You'd walk down the long and quiet hallway. It was quite fancy. You heard footsteps behind you, and you would turn around and look. Nothing was there. You'd shrug and keep walking. You'd hear them again, except they were running. Before you could turn around and look, someone grabbed you and threw you against the wall. They'd hover over you, keeping you trapped against the wall. You'd look up and see the nasty British general.
"Well, hello Y/N. Is my little pet lost?" He'd say with a devilish grin plastered onto his face. You'd growl.
"Get off of me, you filthy rat!" You spat while trying to escape his grasp.
"Now now, dear Y/N, that is no way a pet should act. It hurts my feelings!" He'd say in a mockery of a saddened tone. Before you could get the chance to say anything, he dove down locking his lips with yours. You were tired of people doing this to you. You'd lift up your knee and strike him in the gut, making him stumble back. Before he could even react, you booked it down the hall. You looked back at him chasing you, slowly gaining up to you. You quickly skidded and turned a corner, only to run face first into someone's chest. You opened your eyes and saw... Magenta!
"Thomas!" You'd yelp before clinging onto him. He looked down at you, then looked up and saw the nasty general.
"Oh, hell no." He'd say in his thick southern accent. He'd grab you and keep you close to him as possible.
"Come on, Y/N. The girls are waiting for you outside." He'd say before pulling you along the hall, keeping you close to him. You looked back down the hall, and the general stood there, angry. He scoffed and walked away.
"Don't look at him." Thomas would say tapping your back, keeping his eyes ahead. You nodded, and walked to the door. You'd stop walking and stand in front of the door.
"Th-thank you, Thomas. I don't know what I would have done without you." You'd say, smiling. He'd smile and pull you into a hug.
"I would never let anything happen to you. Never again." He'd say, embracing you in the warm hug. You'd smile and hug him back. You both eventually let go of each other.
"Farewell, Mr. Jefferson." You'd say politely with a smile. He'd lean down, taking your hand and kissing your knuckles.
"Until we meet again, Ms. L/N." He'd say in his charming southern accent. You'd smile and walk out the door, waving. He'd wave back, and you'd walk over to the girls.
"What took you so long?" Peggy would whine. "I'm starving!"
You'd sigh and think about it for a minute, then decide not to tell them. "Nothing, let's go." You'd say, and you'd all walk down the sidewalk to a diner.Word count: 898
I think from now on, I'll post every other day. I might post a few days in a row sometimes, but writing is hard, so it takes me a while.
We're almost to 1000 reads, leave any q'and'a questions in the comments below, or pm them to me. I will also be looking for any ideas for new chapters as well.
Love you, guys!
