Chapter 5

PJ's POV

I groaned.

It's been three days.

Three days since the nerd's magic went berserk in Sans' class.

No one expected him to be so strong, and no one expected his magic to lash out like that.

He was the talk of the school.

The nerd who caused the entire to school to shake, the nerd who almost ended up killing himself and the other students.

I didn't like it.

He was taking all the fame.

It used to be me.

I, was the one who was the talk of the school.

The first Sophomore to become the leader of the Basketball team at Underhigh.

But, the real question was, where was the nerd?

Fresh's POV

Pain.

It was almost unbearable.

My head was throbbing, pulsing with pain.

Energy.

There was energy.

It was new, I can tell.

But, it felt...familiar.

I could feel it start in my stomach, racing through my veins.

It felt...Warm.

Comforting.

It felt like her.

My eyes shot open, shooting up from the position I had been lying down in. I was panting, vision blurry, sitting there with wide eyes. My head was still throbbing.

The feeling of her, it felt weak, but it was there.

I tried to move my arm to find my glasses. They should be beside my bed, right?

Why did my head hurt so much?

Something tugged me back when I tried to reach for where my nightstand was.

Something was in my arm.

I gasped silently when I heard yelling, someone was saying something, I couldn't recognise it. There was movement.

People, I realised.

What were they doing in my room?

Only when I heard them saying things, asking me questions, did I recognise the loud ringing in my ears. It was drowning everything else out.

I shook my head, causing pain to shoot through it.

What was happening?

I panicked, trying to push the people away from me, stop, stop, stop, stop.

I felt a sudden sharp poke in my arm, and I jolted in surprise.

Suddenly my already blurry vision swam.

Colours blending together.

An anaesthetic, I realized.

Suddenly, I fell limp, darkness consuming me.

I'm so sorry!

I forgot that this existed, and this one is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay shorter than it should be.

This is just going to be a tiny, little, mini, itty, bitty piece. 

I'm going to try to make the next chapter longer to make up for this.
