I like you

I like you.

And I know you do too.
You've told me many times.

I know because you wrote my name on your wrist.

Remember when we were so close
we talked everyday, though I don't actually hear your voice.

We exchanged messages, and those casual conversations made me smile.

You made me smile
but you never knew.

We were so close, friends, I think.
Then you told me you like me.

I told you it's fine

and I thanked you for it.

Whenever I'm sad, you knew what to do.

You told me I should never feel like nobody cares about me.

Because you do.

And that made me smile.

We talked at 3AM
and you asked me questions.

Then you told me you love me.
I knew I do too.

And that made me scared.

I stopped talking to you
and I unintentionally ignored you.
Because I was scared.

I'm scared that one day you'll leave.

But that pushed you away
and now I'm missing you.

But please

while we still have the chance

please don't let me lose you.
