"But you promised you would sacrifice everything for me." You mumbled over your breath as you looked onto me with crystal shining eyes. The waves crashed to the shore and the stars above were so dim. It was a good night, but not for you and me.
But this is it. This is my promise. I was so willing to sacrifice everything for you I even gave up my own world; I was so willing to sacrifice everything for you that I even sacrificed you, for you. I wasn't born with gentle hands to hold fragile gems like your heart. It hurts a lot to push you out but I was so willing to sacrifice everything for you that I did just for you to stop hurting more. I'll be gone in the future, swept out by the waves from the raging sea. I knew this love won't last long because I won't too. I sacrificed you, my world, because I promised to sacrifice everything for your good.
That night was a good night, spinning bottles and spilled wine on the sand, unsure decisions and unanswered questions.
