Chapter 6: I Will Totally Smoke Your Butt

Thursday Morning

I woke up to text from Betty.

Betty 👯: hey Jughead and a ghoulie is having a drag race today after school.

Me: wait why? What's the point of that?

Betty👯: To see who gets the Whyte Wyrm. Do you want to come I need to go to support Jughead. Even though we broke up I still love him.

Me: Sure I'll be there :)

I got dresses into a blizzard blue and dark grey checkered sweater with a white polo underneath with 2 Butterfly pendents on each side of the polo collar with silk, light peach and lilac gems. White skinny jeans and some benassati bone multi smooth textile ankle boots.

My step-mom walked into my bedroom as I was doing my makeup.

"Don't you knock?" I asked.

"I'm sorry. I just wanted to tell you that your lunch is on the table if you want it." She said.

"Yeah I don't. So stop making me lunches." I said.

She left my room and walked down the hall.

I left for school without my step-mothers lunch. I walked to school with my light beige bag. I seen Reggie roll up in his 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS454 and I just rolled my eyes. I couldn't deal with him right now.

"Hey Baby you wanna ride?" He asked.

"No. Go away Reggie." I said.

"Come on I don't want you to go to school by yourself. Let me give you a ride please." He said.

I gave in and walked up to his rolling vehicle.

"Will you walk me to class too?" I asked.

"Anything for you princess." He said.

"Ugggg...fine." I said and hopped into his vehicle and drove to school.

When I got to school Dilton stumbled up to me.

"Hey Rebecca." Dilton said.

"Hi.......ummmm..how's the leg?" I asked.

"It's feeling a lot a better In about 2 weeks I should be back to walking normally and healthy." He said with a smile.

"That's great." I said.

"Will you be in chess club today?" He asked.

"You bet and I will totally smoke your butt." I said with a smile.

"Cool. I'll see yah at lunch." He said and waved to me and stumbled to his first period.

I went to my first 2 periods and soon came lunch time. I went to Room 14 where chess club took place.

"Hey Rebecca over here!" Dilton said and waved me over.

"Hey." I said with a smile.

"You ready to play some awesome game of chess." He said.

"You bet I am." I said.

We started to play chess with the rooks, the bishops, the knights and the kings and queens.

"So are you going to the drag race after school?" Dilton asked.

"I think so. Are you?" I asked.

"Yeah I am going there for Reggie and Archie." He said.

Oh no Reggie's gonna be there

Our game got interrupted by Archie running in the classroom looking paranoid.
