"Archie I'm so sorry that happened! How did she blackmail him? What did she say? What did she do?" I asked Archie. It kinda made me sad that someone could do something like that to Fred...let alone your girlfriend's mother doing it to your father.
"Last August my dad hired Hermione to be the bookkeeper for Andrews Construction and apparently they were a thing back in high school." Archie says to me.
"Really?" I asked in disgust.
"Yeah and one thing lead to another and...they kissed...multiple times. They started seeing each other! They were seeing each other when my dad was still with my mom and Hermione was and is still with Hiram. Hermione threatened my dad to tell Hiram so my dad dropped out." Archie says in frustration.
"The Black Hood." I say to him. That's why his dad was targeted at Pop's.
"What?" Archie asked me.
"Fred Andrews had an affair with a married woman and he was also married himself. Therefore they were both cheating which is a sin in the bible. So....your dad was shot." I say to Archie.
"Oh my god...." Archie says to me.
"Let's head to class and get our mind off of this stuff." I say trying to clear the air.
"Y-yeah." Archie says as we head out of the student lounge and into the hallway.
As Archie and I head into the hallway side by side I see a booth with Veronica behind it that says 'A 🧁 and a Kiss with Veronica Lodge'. Her booth was someone getting a cupcake and a kiss. Can't that like spread diseases...the kiss not the cupcakes.

"You've got to be kidding me." I say to Archie as I look at the booth in disgust.
"Hey Ronnie. What are you doing?" Archie asked his girlfriend with concern.
"Don't worry my Archiekins it's just for my student council running." She says with a smile.
"Do you really want to kiss other people?" Archie asked.
"Nobody's kisses is in comparison to yours Archie. They mean nothing. I love my Archiekins kisses." She says as she holds Archie's face and kisses him on the lips.
"So that's how you're going to get votes?" I asked Veronica.
"Well not entirely...this is only step one silly." Veronica says to me with a smile.
"Aren't you afraid of catching something?" I asked her.
"The only thing I'm catching is the student council president spot. I'll do whatever it takes to win." Veronica says as he smile turns into a half scowl.
"You better believe that I will too." I say to her as I cross my arms over my chest.
She turns her heel and gives me a dirty look as she heads back to her booth.
"Okay, who's next? The cupcakes are from Magnolia Bakery in New York, but the kisses, however, are locally sourced." Veronica says with a grin as she looks at me.
"Sexualizing the election Veronica?" I hear someone say behind me. I turn around to face who said this to Veronica but I was faced with none other than Ethel.
"It might get you the boys, but forget about the girls." I say to Veronica with my arms across my chest.
"Stay out of this Smythes!" Ethel yelled at me.
"Who put a bitch in your cereal this morning?" I asked her. "If I can recall properly you're the one who decided to throw milkshakes."
"Rebecca just please go! Right now Ethel, I'm only interested in one girl, you." Veronica says as she walks up to Ethel.
"Veronica I wouldn't..." I say to her.
"Give me a second Ethel." Veronica says to Ethel as she takes a couple steps closer to me.
"You need to stay out of this." Veronica says to me.
"Do you not remember what she did? What her and Winnie did?" I asked Veronica.
"People change." Veronica says to me.
"Within 24 hours? Yeah sure." I say to her as I roll my eyes.
"You have to stop thinking everyone is bad!" Veronica says as she raises her voice.
"First it's Betty telling me I need to stop thinking bad people are good people and now it's you telling me the opposite. I honestly can't win." I say to her as I walk past her down the hall.
Veronica's POV
"Look, I know it's long overdue, but I wanna make reparations. So, I'm working it out with my parents, and tell your dad to expect a great job offer very, very soon." I say to Ethel.
"Thanks Veronica." Ethel says with a half smile.
Jughead's POV
This is our third Swords and Serpents meeting. Hiram and Randall want to get rid of the Southside. I'm honestly a little nervous. This is my family and I can't lose them.
I enter into a science classroom to see my fellow Serpents.
"This isn't a demolition notice. It's a notice of extermination." I say to them as I put a piece of paper in front of them.
"We've already said our goodbye to Southside." Toni says to me.
"Today, it's Southside High, tomorrow, it's the Wyrm. Everything that makes the Southside home...is gonna disappear. If we roll over now, it's all over." I say to them.
"It's just a building, Jug." Toni says to me as she looks at the paper.
"No, Toni, it's the soul of the Southside. The Uktena fought and died trying to protect that land. Our parents fought to keep it safe during the riots. Now it's our turn. It's our time. This is our fight. So, who's with me?" I asked them.
