Chapter 87: Get Your Sapphic Serpent Hands Off My Body

Rebecca's POV

It's that day. Stupid Valentine's Day. Who needs a valentine? I sure do not. I mean last year at this time I had a boyfriend but that doesn't matter. I have to survive being single.

As I walk into the halls of Riverdale High I see a bunch of different couples doing a variety of things. I seen a couple gross make-out sessions, I seen this one guy give a girl roses and some gross Southside girl got asked out today. Already. It's not even 10am yet! Stupid Valentine's Day.

"I like your shirt Rebecca." Dilton says to me as he's holding a binder in his left hand.

"I'm a girl. It's called a top. Can you spell it?" I asked him as I push his right shoulder with my right hand out of the way.

"Do you have time for a chess game like last time?" He asked as he trailed behind me like a lost puppy.

"Do I look like a loser to you?" I asked him as I turned around to face him.

"I don't think so?" He answered.

"Good answer. Now go ask some desperate girl to play your little game of chess, cause I'm not interested." I say as I turn back around to walk back to the way I walking and left Dilton.

As I arrived to my locker I switch my math textbook with my biology textbook.

"Hey Gina." I heard Toni say from beside me.

"Hey Ton." Gina says to Toni in her annoying ass voice.

I'm not eavesdropping. I'm just observing different people's verbal communications.

"How was the date?" Toni asked Gina.

I can tell you how it was. Horrible! I mean the gross green top I seen Gina wear. Absolutely disgusting.

"It was amazing. I mean truly it was. It always seemed great in my head but it was magical in person." Gina says to Toni.

Gross! I'm going to barf!

"That is amazing. I knew it would go well. Is there going to be another?" Toni asked Gina.

"I think he's planning something for tonight. I'm not sure yet. He said he will text me the location." Gina says to Toni.

Now I'm a little more intrigued. I'm still not eavesdropping though.

"I got to head to the washroom before class. See you later Gina." Toni says as she head to the girls washroom.

I look to my left and see Gina giving me a death glare before she heads down the hall.

Cheryl's POV

I walk into the girls washroom and I dialled Jughead's number. I don't know why I have his number probably from Betty or Veronica. I have important news to tell him. The phone rings twice before I hear someone one the other line.

"Hello?" I hear Jughead's voice.

"How's the lake house? Are you all settled in and spooning yet?" I asked him.

"Who is this?" Jughead asked through the phone.

"It's Cheryl, you welfare baby." I said to him.

"Something wrong?" Jughead asked me.

"Not yet. I just wanna make sure you know that Archie and Betty kissed in front of my house right before Christmas, and that it seemed pretty serious. Like, with-tongues serious. That's all. Enjoy your couples-only weekend. Kisses to all, bye now." I say to him as I hung up the phone.

I reach in my bag to grab my red lipstick to touch up my lips when I heard someone beside me.

"Did you just tell Jughead that Archie and Betty kissed?" A girl beside me asked. I look over to see that it's a gross serpent. Toni? I think her name is.

"Yes. So what if I did?" I asked her as if it was a challenge.

"Did you at least have a reason?" Toni asked me.

The nerve this new girl has.

"Oh, that's right You're new here. Hi. I'm Cheryl Blossom, AKA Cherry Bombshell, which means I need no reasons. I simply am. Feel free to tremble." I say to her giving her my fiery cold blooded stare.

"I have a better idea. Why don't you tell me what's bothering you? Because clearly you're in a lot of pain." She says as she puts her hand on my right shoulder.

She's touching me? No no no.

"Get your Sapphic, serpent hands off my body!" I yell at her as I yank her hand away from me and walk out of the washroom.
