"No." He says after taking a few moments to consider your proposition. His constant refusal leaves you disappointed, so with slumped shoulders you walk out of the room. Meanwhile, Lucifer, stays in bed listening in on the angel radio for any sign of his son. All you wanted to do was go to your parents for a few days, without him. And he didn't like that.
You stand in the kitchen leaving a message to your mom, "If you get this then I am so sorry, mom. But I won't be able to make it to the wedding. Something came up at work and they're not letting me go. I'm so sorry, tell my brother that I'll make it up to him in some way...bye." You turn around when arms encircle around your waist and his voice whispers, "You really want to go without me, (Y/N)?" You shrug your shoulders.
"Maybe." He chuckles, "Well, then. I'll see you in a few days, babe." You squeal and run to your room to pack your bags.
