" Nothing I'm just ready to graduate these classes are stressing me out man," She said as she walked into the house
Dionni lived with her grandmother Joy. As a kid, her life wasn't hard until her mom got locked up for drug trafficking. It crushed Dionni not having her mother around anymore at the age of 10. She missed birthdays, prom & even graduation. She still stays in contact with her mom even though she's been serving for 10 years now.
As for her Dad he is somewhere out there he's not around ... As you can say He told Dionni's mother Ryan he wasn't ready for a child at the age of 16 ... then years later he got married to some other woman had children which was weird .. It affected Dionni as a kid because all her friends had Dads but her , but as she got older she didn't as much care anymore because she had her Uncles & her Grandfather who were pretty much her father figures in her life .
" Hey grandma " she said passing by her in the kitchen
" Hey how was school " she said cleaning up the mess after cooking
" It was cool , are you going see Mommy this weekend ? "
" I don't think that's going happen Dink, I heard the prison is on lock down about some on going investigation so their not accepting any visitors "
Dionni was thrown off because she wanted to see her mother .
" Are you serious ?! I can't wait till she comes home , this is crazy "
" Me & you both they might release her early off good behavior who knows , I just keep praying & I know one day she will come home " My grandmother said
I nodded my head agreeing what she was saying & said a little prayer in my head knowing we will all be one big happy family again .
It was going on 8:30pm & of course Dionni wanted some snacks from the corner store .
" Mykea come walk to the store with me man " Dionni said
" No girl it's dark outside I don't wanna get kidnapped ! "
" Man come on ain't nobody worried about you " Dionni said hitting her
"Nah Dink you'll be aight call me if something happen "
She just shook her head grabbing her keys & calling her friend Kiara on Ft who didn't even pick up she just knew she was going to the store & coming right back
Dionni walk up to the corner store which was only 2 blocks up from their house . It was this one girl who was outside with a baby at the bus stop which really caught her attention . Dionni walked in the store she look & grabbed all kinds of junk .
As soon as Dionni was about to put her stuff out on the counter & pay . 3 armed men with ski mask walked into the corner store with guns
" Bitch you wanna play with my money" One of the armed men said pulling out a big ass riffle
Only people who were in the store was , Dionni & the 2 cashiers.
Dionni didn't know what the hell was going happen to her she just knew she had to pray to herself for a minute .
" God please in your highly favor get me out of this please lord I promise I won't walk to the store late anymore just please "
" Gimmie the fucking money bitch ! " he said pointing at the cashier
This one guy on the side kept looking at me & I was beyond creep out ...
Soon as I turn my head observing everything going on I heard gun shots coming from behind the register are you fucking serious I thought to myself & I tried to get the fuck out the store as somebody snatched me up into a all tinted out truck my heart drop as I never thought was going happen . He literally threw me in the back seat & I notice they were still shooting and then I watched them go into another car & skrt off another way .
My phone was blowing up & I didn't even know if I wanted to answer depending on if this man might kill me or not . He was quite quiet for a minute as he drove
" Umm can I go home please I ain't hear shit or see shit I gotta take care of my grandmother "
He didn't say anything .... She knew she was dead as soon as she tried to grab for her phone to text Mykea back he grabbed her phone .
" Slim if you going kill me just let me know so I can reach my fucking grandmother ! " Dionni said at this point she didn't care
He started laughing & it pissed Dionni off . After a 30 mins drive of her looking out the window they finally came to a stop . She notice it was in the middle of nowhere near a beach & she knew this was the end for her . The dude got out the car & put the locks on as he was talking to 2 other guys . They talking & burning shit . After 30 mins He got back in the car with his mask on still . Dionni kept praying to herself & was clueless about what was going on as he drives off next thing you know the streets started to get familiar . She notice she was back in her neighborhood. He stop in front of her grandmother house & her heart dropped. " How the fuck do he know we're I stay at " She thought to herself
He unlock the doors & she gave him one more look . She notice he had the cutest eyes & she was thinking if she open this door & get out he was going dead ass shoot her in the head or something in front of her grandmother house ....
" Goodnight Little Ryan " He said & Dionni's heart drop as he said that she got out the car & started walking backwards as he pulled off she ran up to the door unlocking it as Mykea was standing there worried for her cousin . She kept wondering how the hell did he know her mother's name .
" BITCH WERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN ?! "
" I was with Kiara since you didn't wanna go to the store with me & my phone went dead " She said
" Girl you scared me I didn't know what was going on Did you hear about the corner store ? "
" Na what happen " Dionni said acting clueless
" Man they killed them people who work in there the police say it's drug related .. something with them Koreans who knows .. but I'm glad you safe y'all didn't go down there & see nothing ? "
" Na I went to Key house & then she drove us to Burger King "
" Cool , I just feel bad for whoever In there they said they kidnapped somebody as well hope they're okay " Mykea said Heading upstairs
" Yeah me too " Dionni said
I wrote this book when I was a teenager so the grammar is off but when I get time I'll fix it up smh please disregard 🥴💕💕 thank you enjoy. Happy new year2021🥳🥳🥳
