CHAPTER 8: BAD FOR ME

Draco swings his arm around his girlfriend's shoulder. She leans her head against his chest. They walk through the hallways as Hogwarts' new 'it' couple. They walk up and down steps and stop in the middle of the hallway to share quick kisses.
She walked confidently unlike her old self. She had an aura of sophistication. She made her way to Muggle Studies with Draco. They arrived late and interrupted class but was not flustered. She would have been had she still been Hermione Granger but with her new last name came some courage. This was rather ironic. A slytherin having more courage than a Gryffindor.
The teacher looked at the couple with a keen eye. She wonders to herself who the girl is. She starts to do roll call.
"Hannah Abbot?"
"Here."
"Susan Bones?"
"Here"
"Lavender Brown?"
"Here"
"Millicent Bullstrode?"
"Here."
"Cho Chang?"
"Here."
"Tracey Davis?"
"Here."
"Seamus Finnegan?"
"Here"
"Justin Finch-Fletchley?"

"Anthony Goldstein?"

"What about Hermione Granger?" asked someone from the class. The teacher's mouth opened but before she could get a word out, another voice started speaking.
