"Bro hustle up Brodie." Brandon tells me
At this moment we in Vegas for the summer league. And man bro, I'm feelin hella guilty.
"Where's Kuz?" I ask him as we walk into the hotel
"I don't know bro, do ya light skin call." He laughs. Goofy ass childish giggle head ass
I laugh too.
When we get up to the conference room, we see the whole summer league team.
A few hours later.
"What you bouta do?" Kyle asks me
"Ion know bro. I'm hungry." I say
"I'm down if your down."
"Yeah, what you tryna eat?" I ask
"Steak" He says
At the steakhouse.
"Ay bro, let's play a game." I say taking a drink out of my water.
"What?"
"We gotta put our phones down, whoever touches it first gotta pay."
"Damn bro. And if I don't?"
"You payin"
"Man bruh, Raina for real tryna start some shit right now."
"So what. You want a check or some relationship drama?"
He puts his phone down
I put mine down
"How are you and Mya?" He asks
"Apart." I say
"Like, forever or.."
"I fucked up bro."
"What could you possibly done to make her hate you bro, I seen it all over her live. She didn't want to see yo name no where."
I laugh
"She came over. And I had a girl over, she just started kissing on me. Meanwhile my dumbass started to kiss back. I hear something get thrown somewhere, I walk back into my room and there she was, putting all her stuff into her bag and rushed right past me. Then the girl opened the door and winked, and she punched her square in her jaw and poured her drink over her."
He laughs
"Man you really are a light skin. And she punched her? Man bro that shit gotta hurt."
"Anyway, how are you and Raina?"
"Man bro, she fine and all that, but she lives in Portland. I don't want to go public with the relationship. She wanna start something about that, and now that I think about it. And think she here for something other than the heart bro."
"Ah, she here for the dick, money, and clout. Drop her ass bro."
His phone buzzes.
I laugh at him
Then our salads come.
Then my phone rings, with a ringtone known to Denise.
Myas POV
As I'm watching Brandon in the summer league I notice a guy #0 on the lakers next to bust boy Lonzo.
Kuzma. He was slept on hardddd.
But Clips came up with a dub on this one.
After the game, I find Brandon. And he picks me up.
"Love you lil sis"
"Love you big bro."
I'm interrupted by Slender man himself.
"What's good uncle B?" I ask him
He laughs as he pulls me into a sweaty hug.
"Man you act like I haven't seen you in forever. I kept telling Jordan to bring you around but his ass was being stubborn." Brandon Ingram tells me
"My bad bro. Focused on a lot of different things. How you been bro?" I ask him
"I been good. And you?"
"Nothing new. Being pulled into many levels of bullshit."
"Okay, I feel you on that one." He says putting an arm around me as we walk off of the court.
"But, theres someone I want you to meet." He says
"Alright"
"Kuz!" He waves over
He shakes his head and jogs over.
"Yo." He says
"Meet Mya, Mya, meet Kyle" he says
"Hi." I say shyly
"Hey. Ive heard a lot about you." He says
"Yeah, and you can also tell his bitchass to fuck off too." I tell him talking about Lonzo. I smile.
"I'm on it, Mya. Anything else?" He asks laughing
"Nice job out there Kyle. Hope to see you soon." I say to him. He laughs
"Yeah, you too. Appreciate that. But ima head off and let Lonzo know." He says and daps Brandon up.
Brandon's laughing.
"Aight peace bro." He jogs off.
"Still the same petty ass Mya." He laughs
"Bitch. He deserves that shit." I say
"Anyway. You tryna do something tonight?" He asks
"Sure. Just gotta let Brando know." I tell him
"K well I need to go get changed and what not so, care to join me?" He asks.
"Let's go." I tell him waving at Brandon.
And making it clear I'll be with Slender
He nods his head.
