Marinette

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

My alarm clock shrieks with annoyance. The reason why I set up my alarm clock like that so I have to shut it off because I'm annoyed with it. I'm not a morning person nor a person in the morning during school days. The thought of school completely makes me want to just curl up in a ball and cry. Having to sit in class all day and do work is torturous. But having Adrian there lights up my day and gets me out of bed.

"Good morning, Marinette!" Tikki chirps as soon as I shut off my alarm clock.

I groan as I lift my upper body up to sit.  The blanket on me falling off me. I turn to the floating red and black polka dots bug in my room. I gave her a smile which I knew I look like crap with my face.

"'Morning, Tikki." I greet her.

I lift my finger to her head to touch her. Most times every morning I touch Tikki to make sure she's real because without her, I wouldn't be shutting off my alarm clock or be here. She's the light of my life. She makes everything better and anything good with her encouraging words.

"Excited to see Adrian today?" Tikki giggles before she moves away from my touch and rummages through my dresser to pick out the same makeup I wear everyday and outfit for today.

"Always." I giggle when I began imagining his daydream greens eyes on my pink wall.

I throw the blanket off me before I climb out of bed to make my bed as I wait for Tikki to pick an outfit for me. With her around, everything is easier. She decides for me what to wear though she doesn't have to.

Since the day I met her, though that day was discouraging for me when I found out I was the chosen one to be Ladybug when I'm always clumsy and weird, she was there to say the words I wanted to hear. Still is today. Though I didn't want to admit it, she spoke the words I wanted to hear so I would stay as Ladybug. Though it's hard to be part-time Ladybug and part-time Marinette. Life is just easier when Tikki is around. With her encouraging words and speeches, she makes the day better.

After I make my bed, I climb down the ladder. An outfit is waiting for me as it's hanging from the hanger on the ladder. I smile at Tikki's choice. Dark blue high-rise jeans, a white shirt that had my favourite rock star's cursive black and blue name on the front; Jagged. The black and white converse shoes that Tikki picked out for me fit the entire outfit. I smile at Tikki who's sitting on my desk eating a chocolate chip cookie from yesterday. She distracts herself as she waits for me to wear my outfit for the day.

I put on the outfit after I change from my pyjamas. When I'm done, I apply a bit of concealer under my eyes to conceal the dark circles under my eyes. I apply mascara, careful not too apply much because I wouldn't look like Chloe with her fake face she puts on every single day to impress Adrian. The thought fumes me as I tie my dark hair in pigtails.

"Stop thinking about Chloe, Marinette. She doesn't matter. It's too early to even think about her and waste your time to even think about her." Tikki speaks up as she turns to me.

"You're right, Tikki." I sigh.

I look at her through the mirror. She is behind me as she stared at me through the reflection. I close my eyes for a few seconds before I open them. Tikki gives me an assuring smile and I smile back. Like I said, she makes the day better.

"C'mon, let's eat breakfast then we can go to school." Tikki smiles.

I agree before I make my way downstairs where I'm greeted by my parents and their delicious cooking.

Adrian

"Shut off the alarm." Plagg grumbles on my bed.

I chuckle before I shut off my alarm. I jump out of bed, excited for school. Excited to get away from this house for a couple hours. But mostly excited if I get to see Ladybug today. I hope that there is a small fire or a kitten stuck up on a tree today, just so I can see Ladybug.
