"Where have you been!" Alya's worried voice yells from behind me.

I jump startled at the volume of her voice before I whirl around. I immediately spot her in the crowd of students with open arms and dashing toward me. Our bodies collide, an 'omph' escaping my lips and I stumble back a bit. Alya wraps her arms around me into a tight embrace as if she hasn't seen me in years. I do the same and I rub her back with assurance.

We stay like that for a full minute before she lets me go but doesn't actually let me go when she rests her hands on my shoulders.

"Your mother called me and told me that you were taken by Power." Alya says.

My eyes widen but I attempt my cool, which I fail miserably that's makes me nervous. I easily roll out an excuse out my tongue that's been easier to make nowadays of being a superhero and a normal teenager.

"Yeah, but I'm back! Right!" I nervously laugh.

"I was so worried that something happened to you." Alya sighs.

I sigh too before I place my hands on her shoulders, removing her hands from mine as she drops her arms by her sides.

"I'm here, Alya. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon." I assure her with a warm smile.

"Better not because you're my partner, after all. Plus to write me another amazing poem." I hear heaven's voice speak from behind me.

I jump and I whirl around once again. My eyes scan the body of a goddess from bottom to top that I get to enjoy right in front of me that's coming toward me. The usual blue jeans, and black shirt, but a different button up shirt this time, it's an electric blue shirt with a hint of black streaks on it. I immediately melt into the pool of green eyes. But my body is still tense of the presence of Adrian.

"Ha ha, Adrian. Did you get home safely?" I speak a little too quickly. My voice is higher as he stops just a feet away from beside me.

My eyes never leaving his green ones. He nods before he goes on explaining how he got home. He tells us the story how he saved a woman and a baby from Power when they crashed into another car from behind. He explains how Ladybug got them to his house safely and they stayed there until Ladybug saved Paris, once again. But I already know the story how I saved Paris, but I can't help it but listen to Adrian as he continues to tell us the story even though I know how it goes.

And of course, school isn't cancelled after what happened. There was little hope in me that school would be cancelled for the day, or just the morning, so that I could muse on what happened to Chat Noir when he stayed behind to help Aaron. I wonder what they talked more about. I better ask him later when we meet again.

The first bell in the morning rings. interrupting Adrian and Alya's conversation and me out of my musing trace. I wipe the drool off my chin as I blush with my head bowed down.

"Shall we get to our first period of the day?" Adrian turns to me, showing off his adorable bucked teeth. I smile sheepishly and nod. Adrian hooks his arm around mine and my heart skips a million beats. I almost faint to his touch because I can feel his biceps tense under my arm.

"I'm hoping I get to read one of your poems today or on Monday." Adrian whispers to me.

My breath hitches in my throat as I squeak like a mouse when Adrian's warm minty breath brush my skin. When I see Adrian turn his attention forward at the corner of my eye, I turn to Alya who is behind me and Kim is walking beside her.

I turn my attention back to Adrian and I watch the hint of freckles on his left cheek. Butterflies release in my stomach and my muscles relax as my Friday morning is going just perfect.
