“Babe where are we going?” You asked your longtime boyfriend, Henry Cavill.
You and Henry have been dating for a very long time now. Sometimes you forgot what it felt like to be without him, and you didn’t know what you’d without him. Henry was taking you out today, but he refused to tell you where he was taking you. He only told you to dress fancy.

“I told you I won’t tell you.” Henry said and you sighed, he turned to look at you and sent you a smile before he returned to the road.
“I hate you for this.” You mumbled to yourself, but he heard and chuckled. You turned to look out the window and try to find out where you were going.

“I know for a fact that that’s a lie.” Henry said and took your hand in his larger one.
“Can’t you just give me a hit at lease?” You asked him, your curiosity killing you.

“No can do, love.”

“Whatever.” You pouted and decided to ignore him, maybe he’d tell you then to make you stop ignoring him.

It seemed like he didn’t take your bait however, in fact he gave you a blindfold. You glared at him but took it anyway and tied it around your eyes, but not tight enough to make to ruin your make-up.

“I hope you know I don’t like this.” You said and leaned back in the seat, deciding to just relax and listen to the radio.

“Believe me you will in the end.” Henry said and you hummed to the music that was playing, he now didn’t have to hide his smile and nervousness from you. He was very nervous about what was about to happen next. He hoped that everything goes to plan. You could feel the car slow after a while. “We’re here, but wait until I get you.”

Henry got out of the car and went to your side of the car, Henry opened the passenger side of the car. You held your arm out for Henry, who surprised you by sweeping you up bridle style. You squalled and clutched his shirt with one hand and around his neck with the other.

“Henry!” You shouted, you heard Henry chuckle near your ear.

“I’ve got you, love.” Henry said and started walking, you heard what sounded like waves, and your heart started beating furiously against your chest.

“Henry?”

“Yeah?”

“Why are we at a beach?” Henry laughed and sat you down, your heels sank in the sand, but you were able to steady yourself with the help on Henry. He carefully untied the blindfold, it took a few moments for your eyes to adjust to the light. The sun was sitting in the distance, cascading amazing shades on the water. You realized where you were.

“This is where we met.” It wasn’t a question, you breathed out the statement, it felt as if you forgot how to breath until you felt Henry’s arm around your waist.

“And had our first date.” Henry whispered in your ear, making you shiver and to feel electricity running down your spine. You didn’t know how he still manages to do that even after all these years. He still had this effect on you that nobody ever had.

“Why? Why did you bring me here?” You asked him and turned around, to look up at him. “Why did I have to dress so fancy?”

“Because we’re having dinner here.” Henry said and with that turned his body sideways so you’d be able to see the candle lit table with many candles around it, the table was on a wooden short platform.

“Oh god this is amazing.” You breathed out, your eyes wide taking in the captivating sight in front of you. “Henry this is so… beautiful.” You said and threw your hands around his shoulders. Henry held you tight, seeing you so happy was one of the best things that he could ever achieve in his life. Your happiness meant the world to him, he thrived to please you in any way he could, and moment he realized that no life would ever satisfy him without you in it, he knew that he has to have you as his for the rest of his life not matter what it takes.

“I’m happy you love it, darling.” His sweet words made your knees shake, Henry took your hand in his and led you to the table. When you were both seated, a waiter came out of nowhere with food, you gave Henry an impressed look which he answered with a proud smirk. “I took the liberty of ordering our favorites.”

“I certainly do not mind.” You said and couldn’t help but moan when you took the first bite of your food. It tasted heavenly, you don’t know who cooked this but whoever they were they better give you the recipe because this is the best (Y/F/F) you have ever tasted in your life.

You and Henry chatted with each other, while you enjoyed your three curse meal. You were both very content, or at least you were. Henry was very nervous, he didn’t know if he’d be able to do it. He kept thinking that you’d leave him, that maybe he’d ask you later, maybe somewhere else, maybe he’d do it on your anniversary.
‘Come on Henry it’s (y/n), you love her and she loves you. You played bloody superman, you can do it! Do it! Do it!’

“… So I told her that-” “Marry me.” Henry almost face palmed himself, he couldn’t help the words from leaving his mouth. But he knew if he didn’t say it now, he’d chicken out. “What?” You asked him mouth open with surprise.

Henry moved so he was kneeling beside your chair, and took both your hands in his. You were still shocked that you only stared at him. The candles and left an amazing shadow on his face, he looked so handsome and that took had its effects on you.

“Look (y/n) we’ve been together for so long, and I love you and I know you love me too.” Henry started saying, as both your hearts beat furiously in your chests you wondered how the other didn’t hear it. “I’ve known you for so long now, and I have become so attached to you that I don’t know what I’d do without you. You’ve made my life so much happier and brighter as cheesy as it may sound. I know that if I got to spend my life with you that I’d be the happiest man there is, because I can’t imagine my life without you in it… will you marry me?”

“Yes, oh yes.” You said and threw yourself into Henry’s arms. His large and muscular arms wrapped around you, he stood up with you still in his arms so he could hug you properly. You pulled back just enough to kiss his lips, Henry had to lean down a bit to meet you lips. He’s taller than you even in your heels. You couldn’t help but smile as you kissed, your eyes were closed and you enjoyed the moment. Henry’s lips felt so warm and soft, as always it felt so loving. You pulled back and Henry leaned his forehead on yours, your eyes fluttered open, and your eyes met his electric blue ones. “I love you so much.”

“And I love you as well.” Henry then took out the small velvet box, he has been carrying for more than a month now. He opened the box and a gorgeous ring glistened as the lights of the candles caught it, it took your breath away. Henry took your small hands in his and slipped on the ring, on your ring finger, where it will sit and be joined by your wedding ring. You looked up at Henry and couldn’t help but smile, you felt so lucky to have him. You couldn’t believe that the man in front of you is yours, and that soon you’ll have his last names as yours. (Y/N) Cavill had a nice ring to it. You’ll become officially his and he will be officially yours. What more could you both need? Absolutely nothing.
